let me know what you have want to sell or trade I am up for either. might just as well throw in I am looking for a 16 inch rifle length barrel and A1 sight as well...

5.56 retro 60's A1 I will post what I have so far in a picture it will be a dissy I think I will do this as close to original as posible get a 20 inch barrel have the local gunsmith cut it down to fit and re thread it thanks Rex those are great deals...

I'd go a different direction, brother, seriously.  Run a 16" midlength barrel, use a clamp on DD front sight base.  More reliable that way, and your lo-pro midlegnth gas block will clear those handguards, underneath.  Same look, more reliable gas system.  Dissy's are a pain in the ass to get the gas port right, pretty close to maxed out near 0.125" port diameter.  Minimum port diameter just to start is 0.105".  Then, they're finicky as fuk for ammo. 

Run a midlength.  Dress it up like a Dissy.

This is what i have so far the lower was from a lot of ten lowers sold from a prison in the south it must have been carried for years and years to wear off the finish Like that. Traded JB Matt out of the uppper had the stock....

That will work want to use a flat delt ring and as much as I can to make it as close but yeah if that is more reliable that is the main thing.....
