marcus5819 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 This will be my first AR build it is a Fidelis Arms billet lower that i have, I am using a DPMS trigger an AP4 stock and buffer and my DPMS AP4 upper will be here in couple days. Do you guys have any other recommendations...

marcus5819 Posted February 22, 2012 Author Report Posted February 22, 2012 Well for hunting it will be for deer that we have here in Georgia as far as target shoort aroung 100 to 150 yards not many places around i live that have ranges longer than that.

What type lube do you guys use or recommend?? I heard some people are using Mobil 1 oil..
392heminut Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 Mobil 1 is the only oil I use on all my guns. I have a container of Chip McCormick Trigger Slick that I use on sears, but Mobil 1 goes on everything else.

Me and my boys got some free samples when I was in The Box back in '05. It really didn't perform very well for us, certainly not well enough for us to go away from SLiP.But if it works for you, then drive on with it.

unforgiven Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 I use CLP and when thats finished will go to G96.Weapon Shield will send you a free sample,got one haven't used it yet maybe on new PSA upper.
