But something like this could change my mind.

Product Description

The CZ 550 Urban Counter-Sniper (UCS) is a fresh rifle concept built with a compact profile for maneuverability' date=' reduced weight and “cold first shot” predictability.

The rifle uses proven bench-rest principles by using a short, stiff, free-floated 16” bull barrel with a target crown for consistent barrel harmonics and amazing accuracy. This barrel is enhanced with a Surefire muzzle break for soft recoil and QD suppressor compatibility. A Bell & Carlson fiberglass stock, aluminum bedding block, oversized bolt handle, polished action, Teflon coating and a crisp single stage trigger complete the package.

The balance and maneuverability of the UCS make this rifle ideal for many tactical situations. Includes 10 round detachable magazine.

Additional accessories available include 5- or 10-round detachable magazines and 30mm or 1" scope rings. Other calibers may be available through special order.

Krikey!  $120 for an extra magazine?!

Due to the rigidity of shorter barrels I don't think that the bull barrel is necessary on a 16" platform.

For that price Robo, of the rifle, isn't there a .308AR on the market, with a 16" bbl, that will drill holes exactly where you put them all day every day, day in and day out?
