Best way to clean a suppressor

my cans are filthy carbon build up I imagine how to get the gunk out!

I was told just shoot it from the manufacturer ( welded can) or others use a sonic cleaner.

1st, weigh it now.  Figure out how much it weighs.  Get a cheap digital scale from Harbor Freight, and see how heavy that pig is. 

2nd, once you figure out how to get it clean, weigh it.  Weigh it clean.

3rd, every once in awhile, after use, weigh it.  Never let it get as heavy as it is right now.

4th, ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight.  Don't worry about a "solution" in it to clean anything - fill it with water, and get that thing HOT.  Stuff your suppressor into a HD Ziplock Freezer Bag, pour undiluted Simple Green into the bag, remove air, seal it.

5th, toss that sealed bag of suppressor and Simple Green into the ultrasonic cleaner, and let that machine go to work.  If you pull it, check it, and ain't happy - toss that fukcer back in there for twice the time this time.

Eventually, it's gonna be clean.  Once it's clean, go back to #2 - WEIGH that thing...
