98Z5V
Just couldn't help myself with another one. Found my way into another surplus bolt rifle, and this time it's the 8mm Mauser M48. It was shipped to the owner packed in cosmoline, and he got most of it out of everywhere, and did some light finish work on the stock. I got it with everything - bayonet and sheath, a little ammo, ammo pouches, oil can in case, sling, and literature. It's never, ever been fired... :oThis thing is gonna kick like a pissed-off mule... ;D <thumbsup>

Matt.Cross
1st of all, that's a very nice rifle! That said, I'm beginning to get the impression that WWI and WWII rifles are to Tom what animal shelter puppies are to girlfriends. <laughs>

planeflyer21
:o Look at that skull crushin butt plate!?!?For all the rifles with a detached pistol grip these days, the ol' "Battle Rifles" are ideally built as a kick ass striking weapon!Jon
