Most of you're fluted "bad ass" styled barrels come from less than exemplary companies.

Thanks for that reminder; I had been meaning to check out Loki. Looks like they primarily focus on the 5.56 platform but maybe they'll venture into the .308 market. The cool thing to me is that they are a local Oklahoma company.

It's good to live out here in flyover country!  We don't have many 'tarded gun laws here and the Full Auto shoot out is hosted here every year in June. I need to go one of these days.

I have a LOKI 300blk barrel. This thing is magnificent!

14.7" 1:10 twist, with full barrel fluting. All stainless steel with melonite coating. I capped mine with a BattleComp BABC for the +16" OAL. I'm sure I have pictures of it on the board somewhere.

I thought .30 cal BABC were 1" not 1.5" for 16" overall. <dontknow>

I haven't fired mine yet but reviews I've seen and read say that the Red X barrels are tack drivers. And they sell a fluted one for $200. It's the one in my .308 build. I'll tell you what i think of it next Friday when I get my lower receiver and complete the rifle.
