I purchased a POF P308 a few months ago and am looking to learn more about long range shooting and reloading. Looking forward to reading more on this site. If you have any feedback on reloading equipment to purchase that would be great.
texas30cal Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Welcome! I am in Brenham, have been to the range at Carter's Country a few times, I think that is considered Spring though. Lots of good folks and info here. There is a good reloading store on Jones rd. in N.W. Houston called 10 ring. Rcbs and Dillon equipment here very happy with both.

texas30cal Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Corsicana, that is too far east for me! I like it on this side of the Brazos, I am on a hunting lease east of Huntsville, I have never seen so many people running around with eye patches, I see at least 1 or 2 every time I go there.
IowaFClass Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Welcome to 308AR. I am not even close to Texas as the name states. I do some reloading for competition and long range, but no expert. I reload 308 and 5.56 mainly, more 308 rhan the 5.56. A good site for long range competition shooters is 6MMBR/Accurate shooter. <thumbsup>
