airslot Posted June 16, 2013 Report Posted June 16, 2013 I recently acquired an LR308. Found this forum and hope to contribute as much as I get from it. Made a trip to the range this week and got the glass dialed in.Three holes touching at 100 yds. Need to do something with the trigger. Haven't decided whether to work with the original or go with one of the drop in fire controls. Any input would be welcome.
BLKSHEEP Posted June 16, 2013 Report Posted June 16, 2013 Welcome to poverty! :)) Well if you're shooting sub .75" groups the trigger isn't too bad? If you haven't already done so I recommend that you watch this video

airslot Posted June 23, 2013 Author Report Posted June 23, 2013 Thanks guys. I'm liking the idea of the Giesselle trigger. After lubing all the contact points in the original, my Lyman gauge was breaking at over 9#.
