blue109 Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 How close is too close? I just finished a build and the scope objective looks to be sitting on the rail...but you can slide a piece of printer paper between them. its pretty darn close lol. Any issues with that? Am I good to go as long as there is no contact? Think there may be contact during recoil? I'm using my SS1-9x and PRI rings so its solid gear.
planeflyer21 Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 As long as it isn't flexing enough to make contact under recoil, you're good!
survivalshop Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 Should be OK , now using a scope cover may be problematic . You can always use higher rings or mount , if you want to go that route.
shibiwan Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) Wish I could get mine that low... I'm down to about 1/4" As long as there's no contact, you'll be fine. Edited November 16, 2013 by shibiwan
blue109 Posted November 16, 2013 Author Report Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) Lol. Pretty close! Plenty of room over the buis. Looks pretty sweet. I'll get pics this weekend. Edited November 16, 2013 by blue109
