12 GA Shotgun upper for a DPMS Type lower!

Do you have to use their polymer ammo through this thing?  Will it function with off-the-shelf ammo?

 

Also, they keep saying "AR10," but that's a DPMS pattern upper they're showing.

Unfortunately that appears to be the case, it sounds like the rim on standard shells prevented them from stacking properly in the mag 

creating feeding issues. Cool idea though - it would be nice if they would get their nomenclature right.

With this one being out, someone will "modify it" and make a version that (1) runs standard 12ga ammo, and (2) is different enough to have it's own separate patent, thus not infringing on WFAs patent.

there was alot of hype about this thing a while ago. they said they we're in talks with "major" ammo manufacturers to produce the shells for it. I think its an awesome design and running on modded PMAGs is cool. $3 a round with no idea if you will be able to get more is a deal breaker.

Their is a guy in phoenix who makes and sells 12 ga shotgun upper which mate to a LR308. Lower. He sells it on the back page in phoenix and craiglist phoenix.

What it need is a Saiga like magazine for it to function with more than a 5 round mag.
