98Z5V Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 They work pretty damn well. I picked one up at the beginning of the year, and like it alot. <thumbsup>
jtallen83 Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 I must be doing something wrong, I didn't have much luck with mine..........
Dale Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 just ordered one, will this work on the previous/gen 1? magazines?... if not no big deal...
Rsquared Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 Not 100% sure. But I thought that they would work with M14 mags also. Which is pretty much what the gen 1 mags were. After the earlier waffle mags that is.
Dale Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 didn't know but mine are supposed to be here this weekend... got for the ar10 and the ar15...
Rsquared Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Welcome to the Armalite club Dale. Pay no attention to those nay-sayers. They're all chasing us. After all.......Mr. Stoner DID create our weapon before they're rifle ever existed.
Dale Posted January 13, 2015 Report Posted January 13, 2015 well the loaders didn't get here till today... got them in the house, and had to mess with them straight off... the AR15 worked without a hitch, both loading and stripping, it will be a great addition to the gear bag... then came the AR 10B gen II loader... I tried it on an old style/gen 1 magazine first and it unloaded and reloaded it slick as a whistle... I was pleasantly surprised it worked so well... I grabbed a brand new Gen II magazine and gave it a whirl... well lets just say it worked, but it took a lot of coaxing to get the job done... I had the magazine loaded and first tried to unload it, I had to jiggle the loader every other round to get them to drop out... not sure if there's something that's needing to work in, a piece of excess plastic or whatever... after I got them all out, it was time to reload the magazine, I made sure the loader was seated properly and went to it... it loaded all 20 rounds without a problem... all in all, I think they are both going to be vital assets to easing the loading/unloading of the appropriate magazines...
Sisco Posted May 3, 2016 Author Report Posted May 3, 2016 Just a follow up to an old topic: Have Lula loaders now in three different sizes. They work great once you get the knack. Recommend them.
