I have como wrench , supposed to work on both DPMS & AR 10's. Since I have never owned or worked on an AR 10 , can't tell you if it will work on an AR 10 or not. Big a$$ wrench though . I can get a photo if you want .

Doesn't you press have its own priming attachment ? What are you using to ream the primer pockets? When a Primer crimp is not removed , you can have the primers flatten & deform .

Annealed 308 brass tonight , too bad that nice looking Annealing mark is going to go away when I SS Tumble them .

So , you want to use a LAR 8 barrel on a AR10/LR308 Upper receiver or something like that ?

Different knob adj. for what ranges your shooting , for the different loads you use , if more than one .That goes on the dope or range card , what settings for each range past or below your Zero set range . With that on a card & all you have to do is adj. for wind & other conditions you think you need to consider at the time of the shot. Having a scope that you can reset the Knobs to zero on the dials , is a good feature .

Maybe not sized correctly ?

There's a good story on that rifle , first it was & is the most accurate AK I have ever shot . When I was a Dealer , I got a bunch of these when they came out & sold every one except this one , because it shot so well , but ended selling it to a good friend of mine , in a weak moment & many years later he complained to me that it was jamming & he wanted an AR , because he wanted a scope on the rifle . Well I built him an AR 15 , even though there's a side mount on the AK for scope mount . He was beyond a happy camper with the scoped AR 15 after I dumped a thirty rd. mag . I found he was shooting cheap steel case ammo out of the AK & was told AK's don't need to be cleaned ( where have you heard that before ) I cleaned it & used my ammo & it fires flawlessly .

You should not be having problems( as was said ) with the Hornady brass , something is not right with your priming tool or the Brass .What primers are you using ? Do you have the capability to prime on your press ? You will find that every Barrels Chamber is different & a load in the manual may not show High Pressure signs in one chamber & another it will , shows your working on the edge , just some of your brass is showing it & some not . May just be the condition of the Chamber at the time that case was chambered & fired. I would reduce the charge a little & toss any brass that spits out the primer .

I agree with Tripledeuce . I see another with a flattened primer , sure sign of OP . The ejector swipes on the bottom of the case with the arrow pointing at it ,is another one . Most look OK , though . How often are you check weighing you charge , while charging cases ? What scale are you using .

I'm wishful in my thoughts , but then reality sets in & if this A$$hole backs down from this , it will be the first time the has done so . DPMS & only DPMS has at least three different rail heights on there upper receivers . One is their Target high rail & no Hand guard rail will match up to it , because of how high it is . Their" High "rail upper is pre 2009 , many after market Upper receivers make theirs like that . The" low "rail height is DPMS's post 2009 & some , like Tactical Machining make theirs to those spec's . If you go to the DPMS section there is an explanation & photo's of the differences , If you want your hand guard rail to match up with the Upper Receivers rail you have to match them up , High or Low . Also the Armalite AR 10 's rail height is a little different height then the DPMS, so more confusion for you .

Thanks , they are on the top of my list . I may want a mag pouch for the front , but have three or four mags in a single row .I have to look at it all .

I use the same thing , I think its better to reform the material back to where it came from than to trim it off. I also use the swager to identify loose primer pockets of previous reloads . I toss any that it fits in loose , has to have some resistance on the tool to hold a primer in the pocket .
