  1. Click on the " More Reply Options " , the "Choose File " & "Attach files " is below . I think everyone can see it ?
  2. Check out Victorinox .
  3. I use Dillon Case lube since I switched from the RCBS lube pad . Works for me , I put them in a small cardboard box , give them a squirt or two & shake them up in the box for a minute , then see how one or two feels , re-squirt if needed . I then put them in used ammo box plastic holders for a couple of hours . There are probably things in your mix & mostly all other spray case lubes ,that will set up or harden or evaporate at some point . The RCBS case lube for my lube pad is about thirty years old & still usable , don't think you will get any where close to that with spray lubes . I could be wrong , haven't used spray lubes very long .
  4. You will have to seek therapy after they lose . I'm sorry for your loss <lmao>
  5. <munch>
  6. Photo's , man , Photo's , can't you see we need our fix ! <thumbsup>
  7. Just have a different barreled upper 20".18", 16" or even 14". <thumbsup> Ar 15 mag catch will work on most 308AR's , some need a longer one . Are you having fun yet , the 308 AR is a different beast then its smaller brother . I think the Amalite's catch is better for the 308AR .
  8. Armalite AR 10 Mag Catch has a longer shaft , this subject comes up from time to time . I have a photo somewhere.
  9. Fulton Armory's Kreiger Criterion Barrels are very good & have the rifle length gas system. I have two of them. I have a Shadow Ops Weaponry ,Nitrated ,18" mid gas system barrel on order & waiting to get an eye on it & shoot it .I bought it because of the price & wanted to test a Nitrated Barrel . It is getting harder to chose a Barrel , a lot of different ones popping up .
  10. Yes & the Battenfield Technologies ( Caldwell ) Premium kit also comes with a tripod. Brownells has the kit for $ 109.99 , but out of stock also. I have been thinking of back ordering one . Check out what comes with the kit .
  11. Yes , yes it does , around here anyway . <thumbsup>
  12. The instructions on the particular Chorno. you get ,have a great deal of good info & tips , not trying to be funny . I keep my screens about ten feet away from the muzzle blast on rifles .The Sun & Clouds will determine if you need the shade shields . I just put mine on every time any way. Battenfield Technologies Inc. ( Premium Kit ), I like this one , because it says you can read it off your Smart phone .The Premium Kit has every thing you need , including a light kit for night shooting . Competition Electronics -------, they have several models Pact ---, one of the top of the line & you will pay for it . I have one of their Digital Scales & had to send it back the first year , because it would not come out of Calibration mode & they fixed it . They make a good product. I have an RCBS , my wife got it for me for Christmas a few years ago & it quit working on me the first year & after sending it in , they replaced it with a brand new one & has worked great since , eats Batteries 9V , I unplug it after use & it lasts loner , for some reason . Works good , but not my first choice .
  13. I thought we were all Generals <laughs> , my mistake .
  14. I think its been around a while , I was steered to this place by others looking for longer Ranges to shoot .
  15. One of my shooting friends has a membership at a range & when I go with him I can shoot all day long for $ 16 & there longest is a 200 yard range . I have a membership at a FOP range , I pay $ 168 a year , but I can shoot anything I want & any way I want . If I want to dump a full mag , I can , something I can't do at my friends range. Of course at my range, the longest I can shoot is 100 yards . I know business is business , but that kind of money for a two hour shoot , WOW . I could probably shoot the rest of the day at the 300 yard range , but still , I just want the long range , I just can't get by the cost ! Not worth it to me , I have to find alternatives & there isn't many around here , this is the only place I know of in North Florida , to get that kind of long range .
  16. I was wanting to go to this range & shoot long range , but after looking at what it would cost , I have second thoughts . Non-Member Rates / Bradford Sportmans Farm $20.00 Daily Fee to Access Rifle and Pistol Ranges. $45.00 For 1 Round of Sporting Clays. (100 Targets). $20/Hour (2 Hour Minimum) on 850 Yard Range. (Must Have Taken Qualification Course First, Cost of Course is $20) It looks to me it would be $ 20 just to have access the rifle range , $ 20 to have a Qualify for the 850 , 600 yard range , Then $ 40 for min. two hour range time @ $20 an hour , at the long range . Add that up & its $ 80 to shoot one day , of course I wouldn't need the one time $ 20 long range qualifying fee after that, but OK ,$ 60 a day after that , WTF. Membership fee is $ 250 a year & its about two hours away .
  17. I have read they have changed design a couple of time because they are blowing off the barrel from recoil , just what I read in some reviews . Setting up a Chrono . is somewhat of a hassle ,but well worth it when set up . I can't believe I went all those years with out one . No guessing what Velocity your load is doing or how consistent your reloading techniques are . Having one has opened my eyes on a lot of reloading practices , some good, some no so good . You can get a decent Chrono. for around $150. As far as the one you mentioned , I don't think it will effect Harmonics much , if at all . How would you know if it did ?
  18. Sampson Handguards
  19. I already have one of your 308 ,16" HB's with rifle gas system & I would buy another in a slimmer profile .
  20. Well , at least they have their name on it , that should help get it back <dontknow>
  21. <lmao>
  22. Micro ,Did you get a demotion ? <laughs>
  23. I contacted Geissele & here is the response , didn't really surprise me .
  24. Some interesting stuff ,an AK trigger , wow .
  25. Cali_Ed , if there is one tool that I recommend for hand loading over all others, but the essentials needed to do basic reloading & that would be a Chronograph . I reloaded for a very very long time with out one , but if you really want to know what your load is doing , that's the tool . You still have to check for pressure signs ,but knowing things like Velocity, extreme spread , & standard deviation , will tell you more about your reloaded ammo than anything else.
