  2. It was a question about your statement of a DPMS pattern Bolt not working in a DPMS pattern barrel , no smart a$$ ,it was a legit question , because it didn't make sense. Its the Armalite Bolt & Barrel that is not interchangeable with DPMS pattern Bolts & Barrels , if that is what you are referring to . Stick with quality DPMS pattern Barrels & Bolts or Armalite Barrel & Bolt & make sure they Head Space correctly & there shouldn't be a problem . I have no experience with Blackhole Weaponry Barrels , but I'm sure others have & will let you know .
  3. Never mind
  4. I want one also , I already have the Die set ! Are they going to make the Magpul chassis for a long action too! <thumbsup>
  5. Did you think your Vac broke <laughs>
  6. Need more info . Is the gas tube installed ? Who makes the barrel ? BCG ? Is the assembly well lubed , like dripping wet, almost ? Was the Bolt/Barrel Head space checked ? Are you checking with rifle fully assembled or just the Upper , by its self ? Check for any scuff marks on components & Upper Receiver that may show where components could be binding or interfering with BCG movement .
  7. You have a DPMS pattern Bolt & Barrel that have problems ?
  8. I surely know some people , I would not like to be one of the bystanders with them shooting ! <laughs>
  9. Stubby will still get some , after all that . <lmao> She should have went to jail the first time . Felonious assault ? Well wait , its China <dontknow>
  10. This may help you in the future , from Heavy Buffers web sight .
  11. Good question ,LMT has some proprietary parts .
  12. I must live lucky , because I have vacuumed up many in the past & never had one pop off . Now a days , they be expensive & if I lose a live one , everything stops till I find it .
  13. I have two Bolt rifles , one a 1903A3 & a 308 Mossberg & that is too many , to me , just not a Bolt gun person , but have always wanted a Rem. 700 . This may be a reason to pick up one . <thumbsup>
  14. You could be right , that is the wrong Buffer , but when I see std Bolt catch , makes me wonder . It doesn't say if he built this rifle or was a factory built . Even if Factory built , you never know . The AR 15 Bolt Catch in a 308 format will also drop the BCG in the same manner as he is describing , even with the correct Buffer & spring . <dontknow>
  15. Nice job ! <thumbsup>
  16. I guess I can afford it , now if I only had a Rem. 700 .
  17. Do you have a 308 specific Bolt Catch ? The Magazine's follower is what pushes up the Bolt Catch to stop or hold the bolt . If you remove the Magazine , it may not hold the BCG if an AR 15 Catch was used. Need 308 Buffer & spring , as has been said . The difference .
  18. I don't have or have seen a pre-dimpled barrel( unless it was from the A2 sight taper pins) , maybe the one from Shadow Ops Weaponry will have a Dimple . I measure all of mine , using drill bits , to measure Port hole to Barrel shoulder & GB face to GB Port . Its not a good practice anymore to take their positions for granted . I like the idea of a Dimple for alignment , it should be Mandatory on all replacement barrels & make sure the GB manufacturers follow the same guid lines . Almost like MilSpec. <laughs>
  19. Go Buckeye's !
  20. Wonder how much it weighs ? I probably can't afford one even it is priced below all the others. <dontknow> <laughs>
  21. I don't use the set screw type GB's , so is it safe to say all set screw type GB's will line up as said above & be properly aligned with the barrels gas port , if Barrel dimpled , as said ? Just curious .
  22. Mine works with no problems with std low pro gas block .
  23. The money has been pulled from my account , is that a good sign ? <dontknow> <laughs>
  24. <munch>
  25. ALG Defense , about $ 65-70 & you have a great single stage trigger , after some shooting , both mine break at around 5 # & it just so happens to be the wife's company side of Geissele's triggers . I used to polish my std mil spec triggers , but the best it can do is take some of the grittiness out of them . Altering the sear surfaces , even if done correctly its unsafe , to say the least . Not to mention that these triggers don't break the same consistently , even after polishing .
