Chaser...Ive got some trx battlerails on 308's and some on 6.8's.....what they are bitchin about is the way the lockup is to the upper....the collar tightens to the nut as you tighten the two lil bolts at the bottom of the handguard. Yep ive got other handguards that lockup differently....but they all must grip the nut. so if one goes to the muzzle and holds the muzzle and then pushes on the handguard you can make it flex you can prolly do that to most handguards if you try real hard.....wouldnt worry at all bout that. I do like the Sampson's lockup to the upper and the Apex :) Wash

Thanks brother......injection was good.....you really dont taste any apple or mango...just gives it moisture what ive found out....its all in the meat when you buy it...kinda a crapshoot.....this shoulder was a natural one......shoulder blade just slid on out....burnt ends were awesome :) Wash

Yesterday was pork butt on the GM.....butt was 10 lbs natural...no injected sodium or any crap...thin nice fat cap...injected with apple/mango juice right before grill time rubbed it down Friday nite and instead of using my go to yellow mustard went with two tablespoons of vegatable oil...then the rubs fired up the smoke daddy with cherrywood and hickory chips that were soaked nite before...got the GM to 275, butt right on the grill smoked the tar out of it for four hours....internal 165 right at the stall...it had a great bark...so then lifted the butt to a rack and put a pan of apple/mango juice underneath...then foiled it and pulled it off at 196 that took four hours....then put it in a beer cooler for an hour Char made her majic tater salad and cole slaw....time to rumble :) Wash

Last nite Panko fried catfish.... yikes too many fillets for the two of us :) tonite NY strips on the smoker....soy sauce, wersterchester, Emril's essence at 500 degrees 7 mins a side medium rare and add a lil butter on top at the table and yes I ate the whole damn thing :) Wash

Rene already checked into the natural gas generator....yep they will work on natural gas and also propane.....might be the way to go....use natural gas then when the gas grid goes down switch to propane you dont get much time off the bbq propane tanks though..... :) Wash

Power you are right on.....but what gets me ,is when me and Char go to the range...she takes her STI escort carry gun and just riddles the bull....then she takes her STI elektra and once again kicks my azz....Im always explaining to her that the HK isnt for target shooting all I get is a freakin wink and a belly laff from her....put the escort or elektra in my hand and I shoot right with her...sumbitch! :) Wash
