is 1984 considered the good ol days? My engine builder showed me this one nite at his shop You take a oxy act torch and fire it up....hit the cutting trigger and adjust till it pops off...then you are set....get about five penny balloons fill them up with he gas.....then put them in a large grocery paper sack.....take a roll of toilet paper and put some in the sack.....unroll the tp to a safe distance and light the boom will take your breath away...like some one hitting you in the chest...the night sky will will light up too!.....:) Wash

Scoping a DPMS Sportical
washguy replied to madmikes's topic in DPMS LR-308 General, Technical Discussion
Ive got the Burris on two rifles, but I like the Rock river better, and use the built in 20 moa on the other two it all comes down to the initial mounting for accuracy...use the wheeler fat torque screwdriver and a gun cradle...a bubble level on the rifle rail...then the segway reticle leveler on the scope :) Wash -
Geez IT is a good thing we all didnt know each other! remember those planter peanut cans that had the spring loaded snake that jumped out? Well I mixed up salt peter and some stuff?...cant remember the recipe...but in effect it was gunpowder...I was in Jr. high....took that can and loaded it up taped it up put that green fuse in it that I got from some catalogue......Mom and Dad weren't home....once again I was baby sitting My Bro and Sis....Ha I took the can to their sandbox and buried it under one of the corner seats of wooden sandbox...the sandbox was up a lil hill in the backyard near the telephone lines...lit it and ran Well it was Boom...the corner of the sandbox made it over the first set of power lines....two kitchen windows shattered.........My azz got shattered when Dad got home.....and it was early cause the neighbor called him at work :) Wash

The priming system on the Hornady Lock- N-Load AP is a tube fed system which can hold 100 primers at a time. This system uses a primer slider which picks up primers on- demand. Therefore, if you constantly cycle the press, you will not be “overflowing” primers into a collector like you would on some other presses such as the Dillon XL-650. The Hornady Lock-N-Load AP priming system is also a safe design. When primers are being picked up, they cannot be crushed because the only force acting on the slider is a spring. Another safety feature for the Hornady Lock- N-Load AP is the separation distance between the primer being inserted in the case and the stack of primers in the primer tube. If a primer were to go off while being inserted into a case, it would be far enough from the other primers to prevent the whole tube from going off. Be careful you blue kool aid boys ...:) Good selection Shibi ....cant wait for mine...so I assume the Hornady is so safe you can smoke a cigar while reloading? :) Wash

Ha lemme tell you how cap guns are very dangerous! Me and my lil Sis were watching Hop-along Cassidy one afternoon....of course she had her cowboy hat and her two six gun cap guns strapped to her....so she would shoot at the bad guys on tv she ran out of caps during the episode....And Whoa before I could even react she threw the cap gun at the bad guy on the tv.....blew the frickin tube out of the tv and shorted the whole tv out...nuthin but smoke and a shattered picture tube with a cap gun lodged in it....so how is that dangerous you ask? when Dad got home he took the belt to my azz for not watching my sis properly! Ouch! :) Wash

Shibi Hornaday has a mail in rebate for 500 bullets when you buy a press and 100 bullets for other things you will need....it also has quick change bushings for the tool head..so once he dies are set up you can switch calibers with a shell plate and die switch....there is a Bill Morgan on you tube...he has got several how to videos of the lock n load press... im gonna get one of these...Graff and Son has the best pricing and free shipping...they also have excellent knowledge on reloading...used them back in the 90's for my Mecgrabber progressive shotshell loader...if you can chew gum and walk at the same time you can run a progressive press...or in your case if you can run a Haas and chew gum you can do it..lol :) Wash
-
Geeez Shibi you own.program.and run cnc machines... progressive would be my guess...you get to dial it in,and tinker with it if you so choose....do you really wanna do one operation at a time?....lol.....if you are anal enough maybe so :binkybaby:....lol okay you single stage boyz flame me >:D Wash
