Ive got both...I was leaning 300 but my buddy went on a helicopter hog hunt this spring and used his 762x39 with that old Russian white brick so called" hunting ammo" lol....the heli pilot asked him what in the heck are you using to roll those hogs? Mrmac check this smoker out from cabellas 349 with cover dont know anything bout it...sez its digital and thats what ya want..might as well go first class and get a green mountain.....6 years and well over 2000/3000 pounds of pellets gone thru it....yeah some parts wore out but ive never had to pay for a part up to this day ...customer service first class ! I ordered a couple of Tubbs springs from LaRue ...so the package showed up today and Char handed it to me. Well damn this box is too heavy for two springs...they must have mixed up my order? As for weight ..if its fully built without optics thats a good weight for sure...this one in the pic is 8.5 pounds with optics and empty mag......but its a "Dikstroker special"... Wash

Reg by the looks of the pic your upper/lower set needs some oil rubbed on it...new anodizing or sometimes anodizing thats a lil sub par starves for oil...put some oil on the piece you.. will see how it will suck it up and make it look better while protecting Wash wouldnt hurt to oil up the rail too
