  1. Welcome aboard. Wash
  2. D take your cell phone camera and if you have ftf or fte probs take a pic ...remember one cartridge in the mag to fire and see if bcg locks back...the bcg has to be held by the boltcatch...always the first thing to check Wash

  6. Dtom Oh BS on that phone guy...you think DPMS and its gen2 stuff could get away with that to the general public? Ive got a couple of hybrid ar308's that yes are damn finicky on mags, but the lancers work perfect in them BUT you didnt buy or assemble a weird rifle...you bought an off the shelf rifle that should work pretty damn good...although these 308's are finicky on break in...the nothing less than 168 grain is just a plain stoopid azz statement .....so okay lets us figure out what to do...you seem to have a handle on the problem...so you said no lockback with one round in mag ? gotta start there... can be a couple of things causing that....I would get a different mag like a metal one just to check...you dont wanna spend nearly 50 bills on lancers......it can be a gas problem or a mag problem...I would think those nitwits would put the right spring and buffer in it from the factory...are you the first owner? and I would get some heavier grain bullets just to comply and also get that out of the equation....if it works with heavy grain than you can eliminate the mag...one change at a time though... Wash
  7. Yeppers...sound it back Wash
  8. I think I want one...looks good...feels good...looks good...shoots good Wash
  9. Went over Saturday...bunches of smallframe ar's...geeez 3200- 3800 for ar15's cant remember now if they had optics or not...im still sticker shocked...nice guys no parts...just ready built rifles that had been all jazzed up with cerakote .....no cerakoted rainbow rifles that would be their customer base because of location.kiosk.. yep they said it worked just fine...maybe I missed all the cans, but I only saw one dispay that had like three of them.Im wishing them best of luck...they will need it Wash
  10. Thanks brother ....so when you checked out the kiosk was there a slot of somesort...that can pop out a set of cuffs and hook you up till the feds get there if they dont like your info? so do you think they will make it over there? Wash

  13. Oh heck yes AC is a given...getting in truck and then getting to where you are going before the ac cools ya down is the prob.....ill trade balls with you anytime mine are the size of a peach seed....and I think I see a vagina starting to grow above......next time someone tells me to go phuk myself... Wash
  14. Sketch If its not over 105 this weekend im gonna go on recon over there.....had to count credit cards jumping over a fence last night to get to sleep Wash
  15. Flab heres some more choices.. http://www.jsesurplus.com/308.aspx if you want heavy and accurate go find you a DPMS SASS barrel I had a SASS once Wash
  16. You can nearly buy a built ar15 for that price....sure gimme 2 of em Wash
  17. Holy crap im reading this just before I turn in.....YIKES.....gonna go chug a beer now Wash
  18. you got it....barrel weight is a big deal...seems the longer they are the bigger the diameter in some cases....my 16"s shoot out to 500 great and the 18" does too but I hardly use it...the 16"s do everything you could want, but an 18" might be good for you...lets keep the weight down Wash
  19. IMA these 308's get heavy real quick...you sure you want a 20" barrel...can I talk you out of it? go to Apex machining they have a great lightweight handguard and also a diagram to measure your upper height...Ive got an Apex and its sweet! Wash
  20. Yep "screwd" is my middle name....ill be going over to the store...cant complain got 2 nice t shirts and some other good swag they gave to Char for me but I wanna see that kiosk where you are hooked up ..get a photo taken and fingerprints for your NFA stuff thats sent to the Feds....I like 6.8's but if they are touting that as opposed to the big boy stuff I dunno? Wash
  21. Im pretty sure all testing was done in Chicago Wash
  22. Survival yep im using an adj gas block.the Lancer mags work fine in this rifle and of course in my other rifles too. Pmag plastic mags dont work in this one very well.... all the metal mags I have work in this rifle after tweaking...and still work in my other rifles too..so its just the pmag plastics that are out of the equation had to go take a look at the barrels....the smaller diameter 0.6110 is my lite hunter barrel from ARP... the larger diameter is from the ARP hybrid nexgen could have fooled me lol Wash
  23. Yeppers Survival....different barrel extension for sure . Wash
  24. JOA heres the link but i must tell you if you havnt any experience assembling various AR's he might not sell you one because this one is not plugnplay http://ar15performance.com/308___260_nextgen_uppers Wash
  25. JOA Nope your question is far from basic.. The upper is a machined billett with an ar15 receiver thread so it can use any AR15 handguard...but it does have a machined bcg that fits in there..the bcg looks almost like a lengthened AR15 bcg.....the height is that of an AR15 not a DPMS...so yes the BCM barrel nut works perfect without modification Wash
