Nick Yes it could be undergassed.....always function check a new piece....one round in mag....charge it.....fire....look to see if the bolt catch holds back the bcg....that's where you start. It has to hold back with bolt catch ! Not ejecting with force is undergassed....needs to be a bit more forceful on ejecting with a new rifle....and lube up your rifle....they like to be run wet when brand new....... also get you some numbered drill bits to see what size your gas port is , in the range of 43 44 45 46 if it comes to that........you could have buffer/buffer tube /spring problems ...but tackle the hold back bolt catch problem first .... Dustin heres just one review of the Zev throw that piece o crap away ...yes bad design.....on the Midwest rail....that's the one reason I never used one of those because of it showing threads.... ive used many Midwest rails in the past,but with all these new cheaper rails that are good quality ive not used Midwest in a long time.....when someone starts screwing with the tolerance's of the upper and the barrel nut I go whoa ! I read comments that said only use on billet receiver's tech said it didn't matter. Maybe I got a bad one but they didn't offer to replace it. One star!!!

Shepp Just went and looked at my recipes we do 6.5 pounders cause theres only 2 of us.....so at 250 we put it on at 10am and pull it off at 200 and that's at 5:50 pm....so theres no way around it brother...its always an hour plus a pound on the butts....
