  2. Send that sucka back...there are too many great triggers that work perfectly....check out the rough justice group buy here from mech armor...now thats a nice trigger with the best customer service ive ever known 279.00 bills for that trigger...are you $hitting me? and I drink the Geissele kool aid too...
  3. yes some lowers are different in mag height areas where the mag locks in in relationship to the height of the lower heres another mag tweaked.....i dont want my bullet tips smacking on the ramps too much Wash
  4. Heres what I do......without a muzzle device on and the chamber plugged with a rag or lil finger put your mouth over the muzzle blow and with the other finger feel the air coming from the gas tube of course the bcg isnt in the upper...of course the upper is off the lower...and I move the loose gas block around till the most air comes down the tube then lock the gb down...and dont tell anyone you gave your rifle a bj you could have a mag problem what mags do you have...try some different ones...but unlikely? Wash check the lips of the magazine to make sure they are not colliding with the bolt carrier with the magazine installed in the rifle. Also check to be sure that the lips are not pinching that portion of the bolt that rides between them.
  5. The cure for your ramp prob is lift up the front end and rear of the mag lips a tad so the angle of the bullet is upwards.....lemme go see if i can find the pics you can do it with the mag spring too...oh and you cant do that with the plastic pmag...well you can but its dremel time....so this isnt the greatest pic...ill go find the best one.....but the bullets were hitting the feedramp too low....so you tweak the lips of the mag very lightly...both lips...ive got the lip tweaker tool from brownells.....so now the nose of the bullet is in a better attitude to the ramps...use the pdf to see what you need Wash Mag-Feed-Lip-Tweak-4.pdf
  6. East I believe that Dane is referring to the JP buffer spring The chambers are tight on the Rainier barrels...you can put a lil flitz on a bore mop and drill...and polish a lil ...you never did answer the question about the airflow coming thru the gas tube....is it? is the bcg clear of interference when dropped in? Wash
  7. looks like everyone is out of springs but this place http://www.firearms4less.com/buffer-springs/230-black-rain-ordnance-308-rifle-buffer-spring.html or go to sprinco and ask them which one they have that works for your A2 Wash heres your a2 buffer from the same place http://www.firearms4less.com/47-buffers Fulton has the correct spring http://www.fulton-armory.com/bufferspringtitanrifle.aspx

  19. East so the heavy buffer you have is a slash's heavy buffer and his spring? and you have a regular 308ar buffer and 308ar spring that you can use,,,need more details on that....you need some decent ammo too that would help.....I would say that the gas port size is fine on the barrel to run the gas block wide open Wash
