98, I have a similiar question. I have a fixed stock as well. If I were to order a magpul stock, could I use the spring that was in the original stock?

Congress to decide whether Super Congress could impose gun control Monday, 01 August 2011 12:07 Gun owner registration … bans on semi-automatic firearms … adoption of a UN gun control treaty -- all of these issues could very well be decided over the next 24 hours. Both houses of Congress will be voting on a debt ceiling bill that establishes a legislative committee with TREMENDOUS powers. Fox News is calling this committee a SUPER CONGRESS, because its legislative proposals (which could include gun control provisions) CANNOT be filibustered or amended in the Senate or House. http://gunowners.org/a08012011.htm

What is the longest length of time any of you have waited on delivery of your rifle? Currently, I am on day 93 of my wait for a rifle from DPMS. Who has the most patience amongst us? <munch>

As a saiga 12 owner, I have to agree with you here. We can't import a shotgun with the handle mounted under the receiver.

After searching the site and finding nothing about mag loaders, I decided to ask this question. I have only found one on the web so far, made by NcStar. Are there any others out there? I love the Stripula, but it is only available in .223.

Obama To Unveil Gun Control Reforms In Near Future
BR-549 replied to imschur's topic in Firearm Industry News and Gossip
It's not just the feds friends.... The UN wants us unarmed as well, and has been working on an "Arms Trade Treaty" for a while now. I got this read from GOA (The only no compromise gun lobby in DC) today. http://gunowners.org/a07152011.htm -
Thanks for making a great charging handle Rick. <thumbsup>

Scope in way of Charge Handle, Help.
BR-549 replied to cartierusm's topic in Optics & Mounts, BUIS,Sights
I purchased the Mech Armor handle. It is a high quality part and it sticks out there quite a ways, ON BOTH SIDES. Here is a link to a thread with pictures. http://308ar.com/forum/index.php/topic,1674.msg12026.html#msg12026 The BCM Gunfighter would be my second choice. -
Obama To Unveil Gun Control Reforms In Near Future

They won't. They want us all unarmed and they won't ever stop trying to erode away at our 2nd amendment rights until all we have left is beanie flippers and rocks. Remember this, politicians prefer unarmed peasants. -
I dunno, they look like they would be too long to me. If I was going for a 100 rd mag I think I would rather spend the bucks and buy a Beta C Mag.

I ordered the SSA trigger/safety combo last week and received it in the mail yesterday. They sure did a quick turnaround. Still waiting on my LR308 rifle. <munch> I may have to try it out in my Bushmaster 556 if it doesn't show up soon. Only problem then would be I might just have to buy another one! :o

Favorite Rifle Scope Under $500, $1000, $2000
BR-549 replied to imschur's topic in Optics & Mounts, BUIS,Sights
That's nice to know. I ordered one of these and got it in the mail yesterday. Mounting it with Burris PEPR one piece. Had doubts about the mount height and test fitted it on my 16" Bushmaster AR15. This scope is HUGE! It reaches all the way from the charging handle to the front site, and that is without the 4" shade. Hell, you could take it off the rifle and use it as a club if you had to for those up close and personal moments!! :o It's not a Nightforce or Leopold by any means, but I can't afford one of those at this time anyway. From what I can see the optics are pretty clear, the knobs all turn smoothly (1/4 MOA now), and I especially like the dots and bars size as they don't cover up the whole target. If it quits raining I might shoot a few through and see what it can do. Still waiting on my 308. For 300 bucks, it appears to be a fairly decent scope, and I have read way more good reviews vs bad ones. I'll let you all know how it actually performs later. But as of this moment, I am satisfied with my purchase. -
My two were waiting in the mailbox last night. Thanks. Now if my rifle would only get here. ;)

<lmao> <lmao> <lmao> ROFLMAO--CGU (Rolling on Floor Laughing My Ass Off and Can't Get Up) That was some wild experience you had there. It's funny how we seem to underestimate the raw power that nature has bestowed upon it's non human population. I have a story about a home invasion by a skunk I will share sometimes that is almost as funny. Why do we have to learn things the hard way? :o

Thanks for the info.

I want to put that trigger in my DPMS that hasn't arrived yet. I would like to go ahead and order one, but I see there are two different pin sizes on the Geissele site and it didn't say which one was for what. I found this one at Brownell's. Is this the one I need to get? http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=31960/Product/AR_15_M16_AR_STYLE__308_HI_SPEED_SSA_SSF_TRIGGER
