  1. That is very promising. A ran loads of 27.7gr 28.0gr & 28.2gr of CFE223 with Hornady 80gr ELDM and it showed no pressure signs !
  2. Just got a text ... Becca's BF is in town and I want to get him out here while he is in town.

  4. Great to meet you today !
  5. Had a great time out there today !!!! Load development was almost a complete success. Shoot one of each load on 224V, brass was perfect. No issues ! On the 6.5G I shot one of each load but had an issue with Sierra 120gr Spitzer bullets chambering, The shape of the projectile would not fit my chamber of my new gun. I used factory Hornady 123gr Black ammo worked great. Converted 7.62x39 brass with Hornady 120ELDM & 129 SST work great. The Sierra 130TGK worked out great ,also shot in 1x Grendel brass. No pressure signs in any of the converted brass. I had Load of 168gr HPBT with 44.5 gr of Varget which Chrono'ed around 2775fps , slightly hot with the primers showing signs of pressure problems. But a smoken' load!
  6. I have all that footage. Must of it is muzzle flash !
  7. I have 10 - 6.5G loads to test and 8 - 224V loads to test. Also a 308 168gr load. Would like to Chrono a few 357sig loads for velocity (curiosity). Also need to burn up some old 6.8spc ammo. Maybe shoot some 10mm also , because I bought some yesterday at a real low price got it home only to find out it is in aluminum cases. And a farewell to a co-worker who is like one of my kids.
  8. 9am Will leave here at 8am
  9. The sky should part ... The Sun will appear ! Don't want to drive my car out there. Going to pack light.
  10. Hell yeah brother , I have a friend who is going to tag along. Going in the Air Force in 2 weeks. Might bring a 6.8spc. Do you have a Chrono ??
  11. Did my final ladder test loads today with Varget. 120 Spitzer ,129SST and 130TGK three loads per. Total of 366 rounds of 6.5 Grendel ready to go !!!
  12. Collected all of my 300wsm brass and put it in a single tub, wow that's a lot of brass to load. I need a bulk order of projectiles in 30 caliber soon!
  13. Laddered up some converted brass with CFE223 with 120 Spritzers , 120ELDMs and 129SSTs. So the next time around I will have a load for a couple of powders. 66 more rounds done !
  14. They are not going to stop selling ammo until there supplier is out of product !! That is from a manager who orders ammo every week !
  15. Merry Christmas everyone 🎅
  16. I bet it could do 128mph If it was dropped from a C130... @ 20,000 feet
  17. Made 24 of the 120ELDM with Fiochhi and misc brass to finish off the pound of IMR 4064. Then did a ladder test with CFE223 and 129SST using Hornady 6.5G 1x brass. Based off of BWilds load of 30.8gr. did 5 @ 30.3 gr , 5@ 30.5gr , 5@ 30.7gr.
  18. Made another batch of 20 with 120ELDM and 26.4gr of IMR4064. I also found ,2 boxes of 6.5 Grendel Black ammo
  19. Welcome from AZ ! You need to buy or build a AR308 and start reloading in the coming year. MikeH
  20. Chrysler did back in 1989. My friends at AGP Turbo can do that for you.
  21. Does the SKS function ?? I really like the duct tape and the modified shotgun round !!! 😆
  22. Loaded up 50 each with IMR 4064. Fire Forming at the minimum charge Laddered the Hornady 129 SST and the Sierra 130 Tipped Game Kings. Crunch ! Those are long bullets at 1.3" and 1.4"". The Hornady 120 ELDM is probably going to be my go to bullet. Did 35 at one weight and 5 each a tenth higher in the compressed range. Also on the Sierra 120gr Spritzers were all at the starting weight for this powder.
  23. This is what I am loading today. 50 each.
