WooooHoooo....FedEx man just delivered my Tac-Con 3MR trigger.
First thing I noticed was the nice packaging. When I removed the trigger and selector I was immediately impressed with the quality of construction and finish. Nicest AR parts I've ever seen.
It also comes with new pins which have an extra groove on one end.
The ATF approval letter comes on a credit card sized heavy stock wallet card.
Handy.
Also included is a nice Velcro backed Tac-Con patch.
P.S. The trigger housing is serial numbered on the bottom and has two rubber feet on the bottom as well.
Okay, I looked it up, it's an auto sear.
The extra holes and pin in the lower would kinda be a pretty good external giveaway wouldn't it.
One of our customers just bought an NFA select fire UZI. It's well used and it still cost him 28k.
Hell, I ain't gonna waste a care about whether the ATF will or will not recall the trigger.
I'm just gonna try to enjoy it now.
If it gets confiscated, well, it's only $500. Ain't gonma make or break me.
and the offspring is hundreds of little lead babies named CCI down range.
Installed a TacCom Enhanced firing pin into my CMMG Sierra's bolt, installed a Catch 22 AR22 bolt catch into my new Spike"s Tactical lower, joined the two and gave them a honeymoon tour of the back yard.
They hit it off very well without a single cross word between them. A match made in lead heaven.
This rig's gonna be fun.
Those 17HMRs are in high demand and short supply here in Florida since it's legal to hunt hogs on private property with rimfires here.Very popular round in Florida.
I've played with the AR5.7 upper too.
I like them very much with the exception that with an optic installed, even a short one, the magazine is very difficult to change.
A like new (no scratches in the mag well) Spike's Tactical lower just came out of pawn and I bought it for $175.
It has a Magpul MOE grip and I'm not sure what trigger, but it's definitely not mil-spec. Very small amount of take up, no creep and breaks cleanly at about 4 lbs.
Also looks like the trigger guard has been upgraded too.
I'm going to use it for my CMMG .22lr upper.
Was this a good deal for me?
Since this thread has been revived I thought I'd add that we have an iron sighted version of the PS90 for sale, used in near new condition for $1150.00.
