  1. I see commercial sized magpul stocks pretty cheap. They make a nice thick pad for them. A good muzzle break will reduce felt recoil more than anything else though.
  2. Second offense to boot. http://www.guns.com/2015/07/24/armed-civilians-asked-to-leave-recruiting-center-after-accidental-discharge/
  3. 5 left. $20ea shipped.
  4. Would be cool. Its certainly a good idea. Will never happen.
  5. I really dig the exposed gas block look. Kinda sick of seeing the super long rails. Nice build.
  6. Website is up...EVERYTHING out of stock lol. The shipping department is going to be busy.
  7. Got mine. Turrets do seem a little delicate. I'll be leaving those caps on. Super nice otherwise. Glad I didn't buy rings yet because I was off pretty bad on my guesses.
  8. Until the next hack...
  9. Nice gun for sure. Like unforgiven said, beachin slings are really nice. Totally adjustable, comfortable, and loaded with 550 cord should the need ever arise. I have 2, and love them. Several of us run them. I'll take a comfy 2pt over any other sling configuration. I run A1 stocks on most of my ARs. Like them a lot. Nice and smooth. I've got a spare A2 stock and tube sitting here if you decide to swap. I may be off, but I think the mws comes from the factory with a longer than normal buffer tube and a standard AR15 carbine heavy buffer. Swapping it to a A2 stock would just require the rifle tube and a 308 buffer/spring.
  10. As stated, botach is notorious for screwing people on backordered stuf. I've never had a major issue, but I've had orders cancelled. I try not to get excited about a deal until I get a tracking number. I'd try lancers at $25 but Wouldn't touch em for $40+. Havnt had a PMAG fail yet.
  11. I blew my spending cap, plus a bunch extra this month. Feeling like a real American now.
  12. Lapping? Little dab o jbweld always works for me

    Revolver help

I was agreeing that a semi is a much better overall weapon...as long as the carrier is trained and practiced in its use. That isn't always the case. Why my wife still has a revolver.
  14. Gonna take an awfully big bear to get bubbas picnic basket.

    Revolver help

I agree with plane 100%. I also know my wife just can't seem to work a slide, and is happy with her little revolver, so that's what she has. Also, if my wife is in a bad situation, and needs more than 5 shots, I have no illusions as to the outcome. I understand training could overcome these things, but work and 2 babies, and to be honest a lack of interest, prevent much practice from happening. I know it's not ideal, but it is what it is for her, and many others. She can hit someone at close range if the need arises. She will never draw if the threat isn't immediate and to her or the kids. I think that's the reason revolvers get recommended.
  16. With an internal baffle like a krink brake to push every ounce of pressure and noise right into his bench! Where can I preorder?
  17. Ahh. The joy of factory guns lol
  18. Sometimes I think it would be fun to machine a brake with ports only on one side, and install it aiming at dickheads and know it alls. Maybe even a QD attachment so you don't have to take your real device off. Mikedaddy? Shibbi? Is this doable?
  19. Lol. I thought the same thing!
  20. I'd call that a review. He's safe lol
  21. You aren't going to improve anything by swapping extensions. The advice is to add a nice trigger and floated tube and shoot it. Go from there. If you wanted to spend tons of money on little parts, you would have been better off just buying a top tier gun like larue or gap from the go. Just go shoot.
  22. Nothing against you Rene. I have no doubt you earn every penny, and if I could jump into one of those sham jobs I'd do it in a second! Just pointing out where lots of that union hate comes from. Since you are union you have probably followed the CA mess. My bro went from easy street to not sure if he has a job until he shows up to work every day now. The contract isn't getting renewed, just extended, and there's truckloads of non union guys on standby willing to do the work for half the pay. He's in a rough situation.
  23. Nice truck...but why did you wrap it in tin foil?
  24. I have no doubt a majority of union guys are on the level..just fighting for an honest wage. The problem is the ones you hear about are the guys fleecing the system, making $40/hr for nothing with huge pensions while everyone else scrapes by doing twice the work. It tends to create a little animosity. My bro in law is/was dockworker union in San Francisco. They have a mess at the moment, but for the past decade or so he was making a TON of money. Didn't even have to show up to work to get paid. Couldn't get fired. Would work for 2 hours some days and just go home and still make a full days pay. My jaw would drop when he talked about that crap.
  25. I don't have any stickers on my car, but I always thought it would be funny to print off Monty Brewster stickers around every election. Maybe a NONE OF THE ABOVE sticker.
