  1. ssae is the top choice to drop in my 308 at the moment...or more likely the G2S-E version .not a bad review in sight for it or the ssa. 210 is about standard for ssa pricing. they usually drop to 180 ish for the Holliday deals.
  2. lol. alright, threadjack over. trigger said what??
  3. they has the audacity to get on ARF where they were being trashed, and say the 855 was a typo . one of the warehouses they deal with made a mistake and it caused the website to post the wrong price, and together was back to normal price. then someone asked why the ammo they ordered, that was in stock right before the price hike, was suddenly backordered when the price went up. then someone asked if the $99 PMAGs the day after sandy hook were also a mistake. I suspect no answers to these questions are coming.
  4. they could offer me 5 free triggers and promise to have a bus full of playboy models deliver it to me that very same day, and id still tell them to get fracked. they are scum, and I don't deal with scum regardless of the sales pitch.
  5. frack CTD to death with ebola dipped anal harpoons. they marked M855 up to $1/rd the instant the news broke. even if you ordered it at that price they will just cancel your order and then offer you stock from "another warehouse" at double the price. those cock holes are lower than prius driving Obama worshipers planting Hillary signs.
  6. I was wondering about that rail spinning lol. wasn't sure if that was intentional. doesn't look like any parts I need to own any time soon. still like to see guys turning out new ideas. might morph into something useful. my GGG bipod can swing one leg out almost horizontal without adding any extra weight or slop to the end of the gun
  7. agree. way too sloppy as it sits. I don't see how it wouldn't just unscrew itself if you were shooting unsupported. you would have to "lock" it down with the collar, but then it would take too long to deploy. the host guy says you can use it for "lights or lasers or anything else" why they heck would I need that? potential neat idea. needs some work. probably doesn't cost $700.
  8. damn! impressive! don't recall ever even seeing a broken bolt first hand.
  9. lol...I made the same assumption. nothin wrong with that.
  10. I just wonder what might happen to me if a guy threw a rock at me and ran, and me and a couple of my buddies chased him down and shot him. not so sure a jury would care much what happened right before the camera started rolling.
  11. looks like they shot him for his own safety.
  12. id have to know if it set off ancient hard 7.62 milsurp primers first.
  13. I was just watching a destruction lab video. took well over 60 rds of green tip to finally punch through some .25 AR500 body armor.
  14. PRI gen3. classy. brutally tough. decent weight. modular. been tested by the baddest hombres in the baddest places on earth.
  15. something satisfying about lubing your rifle with ATF
  16. lol...I cleaned my 308 last night. posted on wifes facebook among the thousands of sappy posts...: kids are asleep. time to get up in this dirty girls guts. come and get it miss piggy." then a pic of the BCG in the comments.
  17. its coming. maybe not in our lifetime though. id guess they are smart enough to wait for this generation of soldiers and patriots to die off and be replaced with the legions of socialists our halls of education are churning out.
  18. that bottom one is awesome!
  19. agree with resale. krylon will hurt the value. as George said...don't do it unless its on a keeper. after years of modding and flipping and hustling, I finally have a little family of rifles that I don't plan on changing much or getting rid of.
  20. ill bet they would give you an exchange on an evo rail since its your second try. I had the Samson version and it was great rail, and took all of 30 seconds to remove. (never saw any point to a qd rail system)
  21. quick update on recon tanto. its sharp. silly scary sharp. one handed slicing of junk mail (credit card offer envelopes) into thin strips like a sushi chef sharp. blade is gorgeous. perfectly even grinds. plastic part of sheath is nice and holds knife really tightly. handle is super grippe. bad....the nylon webbing part of sheath feels cheap, but it attaches with screws so something nicer can be made/adapted. the handle is about 1/2" short to be a comfortable work knife, but I don't think it was meant to be a work knife anyway. wasn't sure why I even bought this, but really glad I did. next project.....pimp my junglas. stay tuned.
  22. that's awesome. they were all Japan made back then correct?
  23. I don't understand how an agency can ban anything without going through the normal channels of creating a law. this poop needs to end
  24. that sucks. id tell Rainier to swap that rail for a standard design.
