wow. you could buy a 2 moa carbine from DPMS and save $3500 each! turning down gas might help indirectly for the average shooter...but trained guys like swat snipers most likely already have the basic shooting skills down well enough that it wouldn't make a huge difference.

nope. I'm 99% over the GOP, and anotherr Bush will lock in that last point. if that's the case, ill waste my vote on a worthy 3rd party candidate if there is one, or just stay home and eat nachos if there isnt.

an adaptor is an adaptor. threads n one end, threads on the other. doesn't do anything by itself. I could understand if it was a "custom solvent tank" but even then, until you strap it on and shoot with it, no law has been broken. thoughtcrime is a dangerous thing.

I saw a dude on weapons guild take some square stock, heat and twist it, and then force it through a barrel blank to make rifling. everything after that is for girlie men.

if they made the ambi bcm in 7.62 I would have gone that route, but the raptor is really nice. I like that you can grab it any way from either side.

I've tried the latch. gets the job done if you don't want to spend any money. always felt like it was pulling to the side and dragging on the upper though. I have BCM large latches on all my 5.56 guns and a raptor on my 308. they feel much better.
