  1. THAT IS AWESOME!!! I am always filled with joy to see real craftsmen still at work in this country.
  2. Correction, one line, 2 sentences. Mostly for you Mr. Robobot as I think you will understand this better then most. By chance I just came up with a great new saying!! "The laws of the USA are like the anatomy of you're body. It's amazing what you can and can't do without getting busted."
  3. Oh
  4. The feeling that preview tries to depict is actually a very helpless and violated one.
  5. I didn't realize that was unusual.
  6. This is basically a "dumbest criminals" thread. Let's share some of our favorites: "Meesa Jar Jar Binks. Meesa holding you up. Gnough.....meesa clumsy" Assup Foo VS Kung Fu How do you know when you've picked the wrong store to rob? Maybe when the security system is designed to alert the owner in stead of police: Things usually go down and look different in real life then in Hollywood movies. But not in this case: If you think hiding behind a bar is a bad way to evade bikers, check out this guy's way of evading police: If you think it doesn't get any worse then the above, get a load of these two geniuses:

    Is it me?

Not my thing but that doesn't mean much. I'm extremely picky when it comes to music, though I don't know any era I don't like any music from, even back to the medieval period. This is a playlist I made and a good example of the sort of music I go out of my way to listen to, though I also enjoy some specific titles by Tears for Fears, Cindy Lauper, The Bangles, The Suppremes, The Beatles, Jean Michel Jarre, Europe, Queen, Bon Jovi, Ozzie Osborn, Frank Sinatra, The Victor Orchestra, Richard Wagner, Mozart, Beethoven etc. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMwcRBsotP7ITxz_Qi6Lp9SG1yyMmcWsa
  8. That's what I call an explosive pitch.
  9. LOL. Monday morning my cousin got in to a bad car accident (the morning one on Elkhorn near Mather Field Mr. Robobot) and 2 of her neighbors who witnessed the aftermath said they couldn't believe there were any survives. Well, today she watched that video and said, "I thought I had it bad." I personally like the song. Whoever came up with that is not getting the recognition he deserves.
  10. Looks like a cheap way in to a hand rifle. That's assuming the conversion kit is a few hundred dollars or less. The closest thing I intend to do is mount a 12 gauge shotgun under my .308AR when I move out of state, which Jerry Brown has been pushing me harder and harder to get done quickly.

I never have and never will look down my nose at anyone. Not part of my way of thinking. I try not to imply anything. This case was no exception. I was just saying that I don't understand what you folks are talking about and therefor avoiding a discussion that I sense expectancy that I participate in. Refusal to participate in stuff like this is something I've been getting in allot of social trouble for lately. I believe that most of my statements lately have been neutral or playful in nature.

I understand getting out and playing games yourself but I can't understand so intensely following those that do.
  13. I've fired the S&W 460. It's a great PISTOL round for long range shooting with it's flat trajectory and clean recoil. But for a .308 replacement, I can't think of anything the .460 S&W can do that; out of a rifle, the .308 doesn't do better. I am all for new ideas when they make sense but that thing seams like a step back in the name of macho. The .460S&W was designed for a handgun, in a handgun is where it shines and in a handgun is where it belongs. If they can come up with an auto loading pistol that can fire such large rounds then THAT would be something.
  14. Sounds like you have an automatic wifle!
  15. Either or both will do. The important part is whether or not it's funny.
  16. Yeah, keep laughing: http://elitedaily.com/life/culture/night-owls-creative-intelligent/686025/
  17. Cops are like dogs. You run, they chase.
  18. I don't know about all this. Every part of this story sounds fishy. I am not going to make a judgment call of my own until I see all the facts. I don't really care about the show or the company.
  19. Not my thing.

    Humming birds

    Yep.
  21. Actually yes.
  22. I'd gladly donate blood to keep him alive.........during torture. Yeah, it's too bad the cops found him so quickly. I'm sure someone was watching the news, preparing for him a nice place in his shed with all his landscaping tools. The cops didn't capture him. They rescued him. Anyone remember that episode of gun smoke where the sheriff captures that murder suspect the whole town wants dead and locks him in a hotel room and; when discovering the suspect's escape plan, throws him the keys telling him, "I don't trust you. I trust all those guns outside waithing for you."
  23. LOL. Unfortunately I am tone deff. That video is disgusting. Come to think of it, there's actually nothing about it I like. I hate afros, I hate that "70s hotel" look, I can't stand that style of music and dumpers grouse me out. All those factors together cancelled out the video's obvious attempt to make me laugh.
  24. Gas pistons are heavy and effect accuracy. There's little if any way around weight. The only proven solution to accuracy that I know of is the system Addax tactical invented for their high quality but short lived ZK which uses a short stroke style system that has a greatly extended but softened stroke (in other words, a short stroke system that reaps all the benefits of a long stroke) with an action delay which all come together to not only make the gun as or more reliable then an AK47 but make the recoil every bit as soft and clean as any DI system. I myself have an Addax ZK and have compared it to DI AR15s and it not only shoots smoother but hits much more accurately. In fact, in one instance my Addax ZK out shot a Bushmaster M4 with an Eotech holo sight and Federal ammo at 100 yards with Wolf Ammo and a cheap chinese scope on my AR. It's AMAZING how many problems the Addax ZK solved with so few changes from a traditional short stroke gas system. It's too bad the ZK production ceased so early. I HEARD that they sold the ZK system to some company who now produces it in greater numbers. The Adam Arms system looks very similar but the pictures and animations I am seeing suggest it has half as much stroke as the ZK or even less which is critical to the ZK's unique performance. On top of solving all those problems Addax Tactical's guns are made to perfection with perfect tollerances, metals and finishes all the way around. It seams like the perfect gas piston AR very briefly popped it's head up and then disappeared forever. I sure hope they start making it again but it's unlikely. A statement by the company's owner indicates that not just the ZK but gas piston ARs in general are not worth the head ache to the company. Pretty sad.
