The down side to bare leather in the summer is it wicks sweat.Then it dry and gets stiff.Will modify Crossbread with neoprene and suede.That's the ticket.

Not really sure bro,its clear plastic.Pistol is a tool,a tool is ment to be used.Scuffs and scratches show character.Hell I might be dead before it even becomes an issue,but I'll be comfortable. ^-^ Not sure if polycrbonate is better than kydex,seems smoother.

First is a modification to Crossbread holster for XDm I got awhile ago.I was unhappy with it because the barrel went past the leather and created a hot spot after prolong wear.Finnally went to shoe repaire/leather guy and he was able to help resolve the issue with additional leather.Back of extention was ground smooth.In the summer leather does wick sweat so another modification will be made relative to carry holster #2.

Been slow to update new assembly.Aero lower,stock LPK,SSA trigger,BAD selector,LaRue Apeg grip rough texture,A2 stock standard assy.Upper is PSA SSK 15" MI rail,AAC breakout,CHF barrel 1:8,rifle gas,TacOps CH,and Nikon 3X12-42 SF BDC 600 reticle came w/flip up cover and kill flash.I want to thank my brothers Larry,Ron for parts and brother Tom for the enableization <dontknow> on the scope tip,nice glass for the money. <thumbsup> It takes a small heard of enablers to put together a rifle. ^-^

Get a cutoff wheel,cut off the sight and grind the edges and create you'r own lo-pro gas block.I did it on a 5.56 upper with a MagPul handguard to put on a free float type.Then I used a black marker to touch up the ends.
