Don't forget to start your gas block wide open then go from there. I also use Armalite recoil system for large platform ARs on all my rifles. Simple is good.

What is your recoil system? I use M5 LPK upper receiver parts and run Magpul and Lancer mags without issues on my .308's. Just my 2 mags

18" Faxon .308 pencil profile, M5 upper receiver and Mlok handguard, Toolcraft BCG,battle arms lol pro gas block, and the wrong gas tube. -

Fulton said not to use anything heavier than 175 gr. in a as issued Garand and I just happen to a Schuster. I have been able to run both small and large platform without an adjustable gas block.
