  1. Brother John you are a very talented man great job.So when finished do you have to put ser. nos. on lower to use? <thumbsup>
  2. Holy poop brother RW how much does your build weight? Looks heavy duty. <thumbsup>
  3. Brother Spaniky, sounds like your problem went from bad to worse. The pin to extractor only goes in one way, factory crimp on other end for keeper.Call RRA they stand by products, don't know how many techs they have usually talk to Randy. Will follow your thread. <dontknow>
  4. :o Wow brother jlaw, wouldn't hurt to contact to people you got your parts from. Those pistols not that easy to break, got a couple of guys that have them never heard of that problem.Though not sure if same model. <dontknow>
  5. Looks good brother Tom,another good build <thumbsup>. The outdoor range I shoot at R.O. tells the people the rules, basically you notify other shooters you want to set targets and everyone must step behind yellow line, set targets then call clear and the shooting starts.I'll wait till everyone finishes their string then call a time out .Checked out Dak on 10-22 they provide receiver [the one with rear sight & rails nice] so then you get a bolt, stock and trigger assy, barrel and you got a 10-22 huh?Is the receiver a FFL part? Nice job on the .45 bro looks good.Alot to be said for a rifle and pistol that share the same cartridge. 8)
  6. Brother survival as much as I would like to shoot steel don't want any problems,RRA doesn't recomend it some RR owners do but coeating on steel gets gooy with heat [so I am told].Thats why I don't see the difference with Hornadys steel vs./ Russian aside from maybe power factor or Q.C. U.S.A. vs./ U.S.S.R.. <dontknow>
  7. Brother Spaniky looked at my log have put 350 rds. thru RRA Lar-8 took a pic of last cases fired extraction varies, the tech at RRA Randy said spring is tight to aid in extraction [relative to question I had about extractor was hard to reassamble after cleaning] samples are Dag,Winchester some have light burr some nothing.Have not found any brass shavings ever, on either BCG or chamber.Good pic was hard to get from flash reflecting off brass.
  8. How many rounds ya got thru rifle brother Spaniky ? Have you had this issue from day one?

  21. Brother Jon those guys were cowards that shot up that house and killed that girl, and the real sick part is those guys know who did it and don't have the balls to come forward. That is an extream situation, but what about the situations that work between labor and management. Not news worthy I guess, good news rarely is.I don't know what you get for your dues,I get a pension and annuity will have to pay a copay on insurance plus I support the retired members while I work.Sorry you are not happy being a union member,if you think the guys at the top are not doing enough run for office make a change. From your posts you strike me as a bright youngman with personality get involved.Like I said before the guys in office need to be changed out they get spoiled and forget who they are working for in this case it's YOU.As for brother Survival have their been abuses of power in the past when times were good, in all honesty I would say yes.The union leaders there did a disservice to there members by going to war with the owner and you will not win,so now all those jobs are gone and that also translates down to the mom and pop shops everyone loses.Chicago has changed it had to in order to survive, the main issue now is not wages as health care.In a perfect world...but ours is not perfect but we strive to become better. And we are humanbeings with everything that comes with that.I get that you guys don't like unions and if that works for you,God Bless You.I am third generation unions have provided me with an opportunity to make a better life for my family and build America, and I have payed the price both knees replaced, strong hand operated twice, nerve on elbow, hearing, not to mention all the poop that I have breathed in.I enjoy the camaraderie of my brothers and sisters and when I die my name will be read at the hall.I just want to be remembered as a good hand no more no less.Respectfully Rene
  22. I'm the VP of our union, and I wish everyday that we weren't needed......but you are needed,if you felt you weren't you wouldn't have gotten involved or am mistaken? To run for office is a commitment,as VP you are very committed. You saw a need to help your brothers and sisters and made that move and I applaud you.In a perfect world employers would pay a good wage with a good health and welfare package for the employee and family.Ours is not a perfect world more employers would rather put more on the check but no insurance and as we know all it takes is one illness to bankrupt a person. As union members we know we can't go to war with the contractor we have to work together to survive and vicea versa.I believe Henry Ford said there is a certain stewardship that comes along with owning a business in providing decent wages and benefits to employees,so that all succeed.Having gotten involved with the political end I also know that bullpoopy comes with that commitment. You would not be VP if your membership didn't believe in you and that you wouldn't throw them under the bus for your own personal gain.Thank you for caring about your brothers and sisters.
