  1. S.H.I.T. was an acronym originally. When shipping manure overseas, the dried fertilizer would get soaked down in the lower holds of the ships...and regenerate into it's full-blossom glory. The packages were then labelled Ship High In Transit, which was shortened to S.H.I.T.
  2. Ours is a Norinco, 16 1/4" barrel. Don't know about the 7.62x39 AKs but this one is also EXTREMELY accurate. Must be the 'Merican round!
  3. Robo already told you...to hunt your ass down in the Bay area.
  4. SS109, Wolf. Not folded...bent. Throws it a long LONG way to the 2-2:30 position. At the county range, 3 or 4 shooting lanes away, maybe 15 yards down range. If you do it right, you can take down aggressors at two distances, while aiming the muzzle at the one further away.
  5. That's nothing compared to our AK in 5.56...the cocking handle darn near bends the cases in half.
  6. Hard to disagree with this butt stroking info! I'd add anything with a non-protruding pistol grip like an AR or AK, but something along the Garand, M14, shotgun-style butts...minimal hand movement required, only a shift of the trigger finger. Rene, with that M590 I'm surprised you didn't mention that...WITH the bayonet! Yeah baby!
  7. Best have a look at Cali's knife laws too.
  8. I hope the DIY is affordable, seriously. ARs were originally engineered to be manufactured to save costs. It has to be some sort of conspiracy that they are so expensive now!
  9. What?! No report with photos yet?!
  10. Always glad to see new things coming out! Looks like they took some cues from FN on this one: http://bearingarms.com/russian-military-upgrades-to-ak-12-and-you-can-too/
  11. Specifically in reference to the Las Vegas shooting: http://www.policeone.com/Officer-Safety/articles/7287182-3-lessons-from-the-Las-Vegas-police-ambush-about-on-duty-breaks/
  12. If that ticket won last night, I can get you through the first 7-digits of engineering and prototyping. Should cover two prototypes I think.
  13. Excellent! I call ARIZONA FIELD TRIP to Shibi's place!
  14. No. The LAR-8 BCG is substantially longer and so is the upper receiver to accomodate. Almost an inch.
  15. I mean besides the endless tourist traffic jam. An interesting article on a magnetic anamoly: http://www.eutimes.net/2014/06/russia-issues-grim-report-on-north-american-magnetic-anomaly/
  16. Will they fit Rock River?
  17. That's a fairly substantial addition to the national inventory! I bet they go for much higher than expected.
  18. Can't find that 9mm Magnum now but found this: http://www.legacysports.com/m-1-9mm-carbine
  19. All the BS weather reporting temps are "in the shade" anyway. 105° is probably closer to 115° working in the sun. Down in the pit, the sides of the berms form a crude parabolic dish, focusing that solar energy. On the shooters. Filling one of those yellow contractor igloos with ice and water, then putting bottles of drinking water in them which were taken out of the refrigerator...all the ice is melted but water is still cool (not cold) after 4-5 hours on the mid-day range.
  20. HEY! :ugone2far: It seriously affected the fapfapfapping. <laughs>
  21. What's out of spec with the barrel?
  22. I'd like to see that adhesive down in the pit, when it's 130°F.
  23. Wait...what? Chad was dressed like a nurse? <dontknow>
  24. When I was a kid Mom had a CJ-6 (look that one up), which the PO had purchased at a Border Patrol auction...having been siezed from a smuggler. It was all kinds of suped up! Done right, the torque on those V-6 engines is immense with the right cam...not a curve but a plateau. You could romp it in any gear in high and it would move NOW. Low was amazing!
  25. Yup...I think that dude is dead now. The conversions are PRICEY if you ever see one. Hey Shibi...Tom may have a job for you!
