  1. There once was a beaver from Nantucket, Who made a soldier crap quite a bucket, Bashed on its head, Until 'twas quite dead, Soldier cried "Where went my pole?! Aawww phukit!"
  2. Everything but green is sold out, no 308 sized ones yet.

  4. Since SS brought it up:
  5. I prefer the rapid fire/quick fire setup too. Now that this massive nutcruncher is shrunk, I may be able to get off the cruiser and back onto a mountain bike.
  6. Welcome from AZ BigBore77!
  7. Yeah that is!
  8. Haven't read the book but we have Bravo 2 Zero on dvd…seriously phucked situation. Men of conscious are often second guessed by the armchair quarterbacks watching reruns. They all made the choices that allowed them to live with their consciouses.
  9. Yup…along with that shootout the other day. May be quite a show this Olympics.
  10. Since you're hosed on capacity anyway, look at doing some wheelies. Smith 627 Performance Center .357 Magnum 8-shot and 358 Lightweight Hunter 7-shot .357 with a 6" barrel. The 627 (maybe the 358 too) are relieved for using moon clips. Time to start emulating Jerry Miculek. And with 1911s already on your radar with these sub-standard capacity mags, you should investigate the .50 G.I. cartridge for some serious weight downrange. The .460 Rowland would be fun for you also…off the top of my head I want to say 230gr JHP cooking along at 1,200 fps or so (way wrong…I looked it up, 230gr SMOKING along at 1,340 fps and 930 ft.lbs. of energy!). Back to wheelies, that .460 S&W Magnum that blue's kin had at Marana was an AWESOME set up! That muzzle brake made rapid fire pretty darn easy…just don't let anyone stand to the side of you (Tom did stand next to me…but he's TOM dude). Does this mean that Desert Eagles are on your list now?
  11. Remington Accelerators are factory rounds…just sayin'.
  12. Are you looking at the TAP offerings?

    POF opinions

A few people I've talked to in retail said, after beyond poor customer service, they won't have anything to do with POF anymore…all specifically related to the .308 models. For the price I'd personally go with someone that doesn't have a list of mixed reviews.
  14. Welcome Ron!! Long time, no see!
  15. Welcome from AZ SaP!
  16. Those cacti look familiar…where's Elite Iron?
  17. Best mod for it…Timney trigger group. Nice crisp trigger, extended magazine release, better designed bolt-stop. I'd ditch the heavy bull barrel and get a carbon fiber lightweight fat barrel…since you have that stock already. I'm surprised Tom didn't post pics of his 10/22 he swiped outta Sportsman's.
  18. Lately I've been using W231 for .45acp and 9mm. It meters well and consistently, the lighter loads will plink all day and the hotter ones hit with some good thump. Did some experiments with .45acp and Trail Boss. Like shooting soft 9mm yet these loads cycle every single one of my .45 autos…really surprised me. My next batch of "student ammo" will be with Trail Boss.
  19. Oh bro…don't let powder possession stop you from purchasing more powder! That's like saying "Nice AR thanks, but I have one already."
  20. Welcome from AZ badta00!!
  21. Welcome from AZ headspace!
  22. I think I just heard an artery burst in Connecticut.
  23. Own it, love it, operate it!
  24. 908 is great!
  25. That dude's gumptard material for sure. I've seen 8ft chunks of concrete with rebar sticking out, rolling down the river here after a good rain.
