  1. I'm up for desert or Casa Grande. Don't know anyplace that isn't populated really now between here and there.
  2. What about Casa Grande…EARLY, blast the phone, then plead ignorance when authorities show up? Still have tomorrow open right now.
  3. We can have those now while hunting in Arizona, handgun only (mag capacity no limit) while archery hunting. Not because of bears but two-legged coyotes.
  4. I looked through quite a few of the 15,000+ kids on there. There next highest number I saw was less than 160.
  5. Bubba, you copying my method? <thumbsup> I do it that way too…makes it like Christmas for the next 4 months. "What's this in here? AMMO!! Awesome! Oh, look…there's some more loaded ammo! Range time!"
  6. Used the DAG cupronickle jacketed surplus on both rifles for break in. Biggest problem I had was compressing my gut to bend over and pick this stuff up.
  7. Now I'm jealous BLKSHEEP!! Is that in your house?
  8. Now you tell me after my LAR-8s are broken in. Why not?
  9. I haven't met a person that couldn't be prosecuted for a felony in some jurisdiction. Don't think so? Have you had sex out of marriage? Sex in public? Driven only a couple of blocks to your house from the bar? Hell, they're prosecuting people who took pictures of their OWN naked baby laying on their stomach for child porn. The cop's job is to get you to talk. If they're involved in a shooting on duty, guess what they don't do…talk to other cops. Most department's policies nationwide insist cops involved in a shooting do NOT speak until a few days have passed and a union rep (lawyer) is present. Why should you be treated differently?
  10. I recommend to all my students to watch this video. Some have reported watching it…and they are amazed.
  11. That's what I did blue…shopped, found IN STOCK, ordered. And the prices on both were a couple of hundred less than many of the "order and wait" offers from gun shops.
  12. 451…we're into proper handgun bullet sizes.
  13. Sshhh!! You'll upset the lefties that bought a Rifle That Shall Not Be Named.
  14. You can get a very nice Nikon for $450.
  15. I'm up for an AR-armorer's course…need a couple of months warning to wedge it in but do have a few weekends that are completely locked up for the first half of the year already.
  16. Our range is off limits NYD 2014 but my day is open! Plenty…PLENTY of open desert between here and there. All we got to do is find another sign, denoting the area as "unfit for U.S. citizens" and we can do what the helll we want. Mike…pack that stuff between some pillows and wrap it in duct tape! I need to shoot up some stuff before the lead gets too old.
  17. Mr. Stoner did what many other firearms designers did…combined features from already established firearms and combined them into one system. Nothing in Stoner's design that became the Armalite Rifle was original, from direct impingement gas system to straight line recoil to aluminum action and synthetic furniture.
  18. For all you country boys.
  19. :laughing4: <lmao> <laughs>
  20. Many speeds, many guns, many angles, many different cameras. Notice the difference between that first, current production Mini-14 and the second, old production Mini-14 spaghetti barrel. This next one is an air rifle…pretty flexy, as it doesn't need to contain the pressures a firearm does. This one is good, as there is straigh stuff in the background. AK: And this last dude puts straight lines on some of the film clips for reference, last rifle is labelled as an "AR-10 .308" Somewhere (can't find it now) there used to be military or ammo/firearms company footage, of rifles mounted rigidly on a fixed surface, fired and then filmed in slow motion against a background of a grid (1" squares I beleive). The barrel flex was astounding.
  21. :laughing4: <laughs> <lmao>
  22. Dang Mike! You do your axes like your guns…no half way man! I love it!
  23. Growing up we had a poodle that snagged steak off the kitchen table…bold, quick, stealthy.
  24. Merry Christmas everyone!
  25. VIV don't listen to those two with the Ford/Chevy argument. You'll get that fine DPMS (look at it as a perfected Armalite) running in no time at all. Once you get it figured out, you can move up to a Rock River LAR-8.
