  1. That's sweet! I love my 795, even more so after putting on Tech Sights (and wooden stock). It puts our 10/22 to shame enough that I want Tech Sights for that now too.
  2. Oh man...never get acupuncture from your ex!
  3. Score on them! All sorts of nice prices!
  4. I'll grant that the NRA has been beating that scare-drum for the decades I've paid attention to them...but this was interesting. http://www.nraila.org/news-issues/articles/2013/10/end-of-an-era-last-us-lead-smelter-to-close-in-december.aspx And a repeat here: http://dailycaller.com/2013/10/28/end-of-an-era-last-u-s-lead-smelter-to-close-in-december/ Who is Doe Run? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doe_Run_Company And what their parent company, Renco (lot like Ronco, eh?) has to say: http://www.rencogroup.net/thedoeruncompany.php There are your breadcrumbs. What do you think?
  5. I've been blessed on odd hard to find levergun brass acquisition. When I started loading .45 Colt, checked online and Midway JUST got a shipment. Ordered 500 rounds. Same thing with .25-20...bam! In stock, clickclickclick.
  6. Midway has nickel plated Remington .44 brass in stock.
  7. If you want to take it real good in the pocket hole, Marlin made .41 Magnums in their 1894...both straight (English) stock and pistol grip. A pretty hot commodity when they do show up for sale.
  8. You make-a nice small groups with-a your first A reloadeds! My first batch of reloads were in 0.2gr increments for a handgun cartridge in a lever carbine. One of the increments DID make 1-hole groups. Came to find out, that load for most people did. At least I discovered it on my own.
  9. Look up Cargill, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Tyson, among others. They lobby to benefit their corporate farming, screw Mom&Pop. The feds doing corporate dirty work for them.
  10. I miss Mexican food! :'( But I don't miss the 30#s+ (and counting), muscle aches, joint pain, occasional wipe-you-out migraines. My question now is: WTF is in food (-like products) that makes my body react like that?!? I've eaten more fruit and veggies (and lamb) in the past 2 months than in the past 2 decades (and more organic food than my whole family put together EVER...my generation only). Sure as hell is cheaper than my added up copays and sick days.
  11. Oh boy! Tom's going to have wood for that one! <laughs>
  12. Sweet! Welcome to the levergun insanity! http://www.gunreports.com/special_reports/long_guns/rossi-model-92-lever-action-gunsmithing2403-1.html http://marauder.homestead.com/files/Rossitune.htm
  13. First reloads?!? Dang good job shibiwan!
  14. Awesome Tom! Now I need a De Lisle carbine...thanks. :thefinger: Who has access to the LE MKIIIs we need to convert?
  15. Another AZ welcome jjs!
  16. No...but I wasn't trying to get my ears to ring. I'll try that some other time. I'll pass on both but thanks! Back pain is mostly gone now after doing the Clean Program...as are other muscle aches and joint pains.
  17. You guys are letting this thread scoot down the wall too much!
  18. Speaking of motorboating, I wonder how many cops here would let this lady off with a warning.
  19. "They" probably said "Don't screw with that one! He's one of those cinnamon blonde moose limbs we don't want to offend! Go pull over that old white couple in the RV with Tennessee plates!"
  20. Rethinking your LRB position? <laughs> <lmao>
  21. If it does go that high it is because of the feds screwing around with it and regulating it in the first place. A dairy farmer over in Yuma said to himself "I can do it cheaper!" Got his own fleet of trucks, bypassed the middle guys, had his own distribution and was selling milk for $1/gallon. Until the feds sued him for not following their arbitrary rules and making it unfair for his competitors. Get a milk goat for $75 bucks, feed it weeds, and you're free and clear after 8 gallons.
  22. I'd love to get the dude's name for the acupuncture! Mine started after hurting my back, taking 800mg Ibuprofen...one of the many possible side effects.
  23. Tom, wasn't that JROTC pushup master a wrestler?
  24. So is that a "pull the trigger housing assembly, knock out the pin (while catching the spring)" type removal?
  25. Good price...for those not wanting to wait a year plus.
