  1. Yeah. Then there's the AZ dairy who said "This system is crap!", started his own distribution network with his own trucks, and was having retailers sell his milk for $1/gallon. Until the feds sued him. Jon
  2. Big pharma is sickeningly everywhere. Look at the 3 & 4 page ads they have for one drug in magazines. This pills most doctors push cost them ZERO dollar$, given to them by big pharma as a hook. Many swallow it line and sinker. It is how Prozac got so damn ubiquitous back in the 1990s. "Awww...your dog died. Here, take this." Jon
  3. Well, taught a reloading class today. The staff at Sportsman's said that Thursday the got in a shipment of 16 ARs. None left this morning. The pistol wall is empty where anything shooting from higher than 10-round magazines were located. Didn't have a chance to look at ammo. They were batshit crazy busy today. Jon
  4. Welcome liquorman! Jon
  5. Welcome from AZ Guardian! Jon
  6. poop tackleberry, I just happened to have a page open with a transcript of his speech: http://www.veteranstoday.com/2012/12/27/sandy-hook-huge-hoax-and-anti-gun-psy-op/ Jon
  7. These dipwads that say the founders had no idea about the technological advances we would see in firearms, show nearly complete ignorance on firearms development and experimentation. There was tons of weapons invented that fired many multiple shots by 1770...they weren't yet practical. But the people back then were OH SO longing for something that could blast out multiple shots of kickass! Jon
  8. I checked Botach and the sale looks like it is over. Good score Blue! Jon
  9. Wait 'til the food stampers get wind of that. Jon
  10. I'm not sure what you all are talking about... but I hope it is "FIRE!!!" the bastids. As in the completion of the phrase "Ready, aim,..." Jon
  11. I must be viewing too much porn. My eyes are working intermittently. 8) Keep your mouths shut. No need to rub poop in with an "I told you so!" A friend of mine back East has regular breakfast meetings with his buddies. They were talking about the recent panic buying of gold and silver. One friend was boasting about how much he had squirrelled away of gold and silver. They then turned to my friend, to mock him for purchasing firearms and ammo instead. He simply stated "Why do I need gold and silver? I'll just come take yours at gunpoint." I've been preaching since the mid-'90s what was coming down. Those that have known me that long didn't listen to "Crazy Jon", and forget what was said. You may have guns and ammo and magazines. Let them forget that. Let them panic buy. When the real deal comes down, let them be in the mob at Wally World and the LGS. It will afford you the time to implement your extrication to green pastures. While the cities get locked-down and prepped for Soylent Green. Jon
  12. I hate to even think about it. But .223 on a 40# child? Unless they are frangible I don't see them staying inside the body. The new handgun ammo, "self-defense/personal protection" marketed stuff is specifically designed to expand, expend energy, and NOT over penetrate. Look at that movie I posted awhile back of the trauma surgeon giving the lecture. Plenty of x-rays showing how the newer JHPs often times have trouble even reaching the vitals on an adult...2"-3". Vital depth on a small child. The more these power-hungry politicos and media speak and act, the more I understand two things: how people like Lenin and Mau were able to purge political offices with such impunity, and why "journalists" are so often killed in other countries. They (politicos and journalists) inflame people with their elitist attitudes, condescend and lie to the masses on a regular basis. Compared to '94 they have no idea that they walked into a room, the walls covered in hornets' nests...and they're smacking the walls with a flyswatter. A German Colonel in WWII wrote to his wife about the Wehrmacht's advance into the Soviet Union, "We are like a large elephant trampling ants. We kill thousands upon thousands with every step. But soon they will overcome us with sheer numbers and we will succumb to a million little bites." Jon
  13. <laughs> Those are only the mandated ages that must participate. As in Switzerland, everyone that wants to may come and play. Jon
  14. Here's some info: http://usgovinfo.about.com/blusmilitia.htm http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/10/311 FWIW, the last state unorganized militia to hold regular monthly muster was Mississippi, and they stopped WAY back to just prior to WWI...I believe. Monthly musters work on things like marksmanship, physical fitness, operation of various rifle or handgun systems. Jon
  15. THAT is like half price for those levers! Jon
  16. NYPD Commissioner pondering the confiscation of weapons: http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2012/12/22/police-wonder-if-theyll-need-to-confiscate-assault-weapons-in-event-of-ban/ They are moving at breakneck speed! Jon
  17. According to the US Constitution, all able bodied males not in uniform are a part of the unorganized militia, so you already ARE in one. Arizona's Constitution also makes clear about the difference between organized and unorganized militia, and I'm a member according to that document (Tom's probably too old). Now, get with your fellow members and practice, and drill, and get into shape! Jon
  18. I don't remember who posted the original link but someone had announced that Chief was having a 25% off sale on ALL Eotech sights. That was back in early November. Keep your eyes open and you'll find a good deal. The FDE version was on clearance at the local Sportsman's Warehouse, like $75 off. Got it for less than $400. Find someone that has one and is now drinking the Aimpoint kool-aid, you could get a good deal. Jon
  19. Welcome txkillerbee! I use Brownell's for "one-stop shopping" for most AR goodies. Jon
  20. Just like their needing arms for protection because they're important. To themselves. To quote the politician Homer Simpson "Let someone else do it!" Jon
  21. Awesome Shepp! That shows the original broadcast of what the state police reported as December 17, Monday after the shooting. These slimebags are going to have a fight on their hands. Jon
  22. To quote Jebediah Springfield, the anti-gunners sure are feeling embiggened. Here's audio: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-qq8pootc4 And what Michelle Malkin has to say: Jon
  23. I removed the link I posted for the reasons stated above. Jon
  24. <laughs> I have a 512 (in FDE Tom) mounted on Liberty. Like it so much I got a black one for the ladies' 2VA lower project from Chief for $320 or so. Tom's words have iron in them. 25/300 zero on Liberty...sight-n-squeeze...DING. Jon
  25. Like the "Open Border" gumptards here. I tell them "Ok, I'll agree to an open border on one condition...Mexican citizens get the 2nd Amendment/RTKBA." Blank bovine expression. I'd like to see how much further drug cartel violence goes when average people shoot back, same with their open government corruption. Jon
