  1. You would definately need a new barrel to shoot the Long Rifle (or any of the other straight-cased .22 rounds). Kel-Tec should make a dedicated .22LR version.
  2. Welcome from Arizona!
  3. Very good insight DNP. And, off the record, sign a good waiver and you can get some very good dental work done in my carport. For less than $100.
  4. Love that FDE Sisco!
  5. Yeah! That juxta...the jux...the juxt...I loke the way both emblems can be seen side by side!
  6. I do. HuffPost, Slate, Mic, and others too. It is good to watch the libtard empire coming apart at the seams from within. Know your enemy!
  7. Oh, okay <wink-wink, nod-nod>. Seriously though, go into your browser settings and delete the WaPo cookies, then you can view it.
  8. <as DNP clenches his fists in rage, head back to scream> "Curse you porn! You have foiled my other cices yet again!"
  9. Pics!
  10. Outstanding MM!
  11. Yup. As soon as the law was passed our out-of-pocket insurance started creeping up $20-40 a pop every other month, so we went on the exchange. And then that policy was cancelled, due to the company not liking the exchange. So we got another insurance. Which was cancelled. And another, which was also cancelled. 4 insurance providers in 3 years.
  12. Dude was just telling me about converting .223/5.56 cases to take a shotgun primer, then fixing a .22 caliber pellet in the mouth of the case. Slide the base of the pellet in a bit sidegoggled, then straighten and pull and it snugs right in there. You can load these into bolt-action rifles and, apparently, the pellet propelled by that 209 primer is a real screamer but quieter than an airgun. Use some of those zinc or copper pellets.
  13. I haven't had any approved gun solvents break down the nylon brushes. I use the Montana X-treme bore and chamber brushes, as the bristles seem to be thicker and more stout than other brands. After first purchasing them (I think the store was out of any brushes made of metal in the caliber I needed), the difference was clear and astounding. When you run a bronze brush down the bore the first time, it "sets" to that bore size. Run a 9mm bore brush down a 9mm bore, then try cleaning a .38 or .357. It kinda works but like when my ex-girlfriend returned from a "girls night out", not as much grabby friction there. Not so with the Montana X-treme brushes. The nylon springs back to the original diameter. Over time the ends of the bristles where the strands were snipped become not as sharp as when new but they still work.
  14. Cox 0.49 engines?
  15. You know they can crack those now, right?
  16. I suppose I'll be the party pooper. Personally I don't find humor in firearms related jokes or gags. It reflects poorly on the actual firearm owning/shooting community when stunts are pulled by Candid Camera type shows. And the idiots out there filming what happens when handing a novice shooter a big firearm, in order to make the potential new shooter look stupid for shites and giggles are worthless additions to the firearm-owning community as a whole. Our club has refunded membership fees to dumbasses for much less.
  17. Whatever it is blue calls his poo-pool with fish in it! Pretty sure he has a grill. If not we can hop the wall and "borrow" a neighbor's.
  18. Wow! MagPul mags are so good they even make ASSS (new 4-letter abbreviation) rifles work!
  19. I thought the fish hooks were bad.
  20. Look at the ham on that baby!
  21. Crickets. It'll be days before we get the "Now you guys aren't going to believe this but I was at the drawing and someone kept calling my name. I had no idea..."
  22. With sub-freezing winter temperatures, those expensive fish would be dead. My buddy had a salt water aquarium with some beautiful tropical fish. That thing was heated. His heater went out once and he was in full panick mode. That's what mosquito fish eat! I say for the next get together we meet up at blue's house for fishing!
  23. You got him wearing kilts at least. Time to get him some dirks.
  24. Koi? Screw that. Blue gill and tilapia bro!
  25. You reminded me of my brother's friend he had in Jr Highschool. It was the early '70s so the kid had some long hair growing, already against the Dad's wishes. Anyway, cops brought home junior one day for smoking weed. With the cops present, Dad gave junior a haircut on the front lawn with his Buck knife. Could never do that now.
