  3. Well ol' Sean USED to have a lot of guns that he could have used to protect himself with...............until his girlfriend Charlize talked him into making a statue out of them! Bwaahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid mutherfukker!
  4. Hell of a deal brother! And yeah, they are tough as nails and Tom approved!
  5. Blue, if you don't mind me asking what did you have to give for that Comp M4? I got a new one from a buddy of mine for $400.
  6. Congrats Pappy! Retirement (Defenition); When a wife gets twice the husband at half the pay!
  7. Just goes to show how some people just have to fuk around with something until they can make it malfunction somehow and then point a finger and say it's junk!
  8. They only dig those things in Arizona and Cali. I don't think the eastern smugglers are smart enough to figure out how to do that without it caving in on them!
  9. That's another thing. She is always telling me I need to load more ammo to stockpile in case of another shortage or if the government pulls some kind of crap to put a damper on ammo availablity. I told her she's gotta quit buying shoes so I can have some money to buy reloading components. That kind of went in one ear and out the other!
  10. Scuba diving in El Paso? I take it you go to the Butte? Most of the time there isn't enough water in the Rio Grande to wash your feet!
  11. I'm the same way. Fortunately my wife is worse than I am, she gives me hell on the rare occasion that I do sell one!
  12. Well, that right there is a good reason to buy another gun. Just sayin!
  13. I've got two of them in AR-15's and think they are a great trigger for the price, a definite improvement over a milspec trigger! I use the JP Enhanced Reliability springs with them and they both run about 4.5# on the pull. One was in my DPMS LR308 for quite a while until I replaced it with a Mech Armor Rough Justice trigger and I never had a problem with it in the 308.
  14. I am with you Shepp, Wolverines!
  15. Basically, what it says is that after implementation every person on the trust has to be fingerprinted and photographed but no one has been able to figure out if that has to be done once or for each additional item added to the trust! 248 pages and still clear as mud! Typical government way of doing things.
  16. Blue, if you're getting tacos from a truck then that's your problem! NEVER buy mexican food from a truck or convenience store! LMAO!
  17. I agree with Jon, the logistics just aren't there to be able to pull off a massive gun confiscation in this country. Use the military? Even if the government tried to circumvent the Posse Comitatus I think a lot the rank and file grunts would refuse. I know for a fact that a LOT of Marines would! Policeone.com did a survey and found that over 80% of law enforcement supported gun ownership, the 2nd. Amendment and concealed carry and that tells me that a large portion of the law enforcement community would not support it either. The biggest majority of anti gun responders to that survey were administration and you can bet the farm that those bozos have no intention of going out and kicking down any doors themselves!
  18. I have lost ALL respect for truck drivers! Back when I started the PD in 1980 truck drivers had the attitude that they were bigger, heavier vehicles and went to great lengths to drive in a more courteous manner because of it. I pretty much left drivers alone unless they really screwed up, I felt they were doing their best to keep the roads safe while making a living. Over the years their attitude changed and by the time I retired in 2002 the general attitude with truck drivers was that the passenger vehicles needed to watch out for THEM because they were bigger and heavier and if they didn't it was their fault, not the truck drivers! I even had drivers at the local truck stop voice this outlook to me a few times in the coffee shop. I talked to an owner operator friend of mine that had been driving for over 30 years and he confirmed that the attitudes of drivers had taken a drastic turn over the years and was almost ashamed to admit he was a driver by the time he retired. Since retiring I have been ran off the inside shoulder of the interstate several times by truck drivers who decide they are going to pass even if you're in the left lane and about to pass them. They just don't give a schit and hit the turn signal and start the lane change as soon as the hit it! I've gotten to the point that I'm truly paranoid about passing a truck if there is another vehicle in front of it! It's a damn good thing I'm retired because there's no way I would give a truck driver any kind of break nowadays. FUK TRUCK DRIVERS!
  19. Yup!
  20. Yup! We had take home cars and I checked under the back seat of my cruiser on a regular basis!
  21. I would definitely sit and have a beer with this guy!
  22. With all the stuff the cops are using now, the electrical for it all is a black art! We only had about half that stuff when I retired 13 years ago! Don't worry about the off topic, like shepp said stuff is constantly getting derailed around here and we don't worry about it. Actually, if you don't derail something in your first 50 posts here we start keeping a close eye on you to determine if you're OCD or something! ROFL!!!!!!
  23. Yup! I will be using my Form 1 can that's on my 300 BLK on my Matrix .308 build too, once it's done.
  24. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Nice! Sounds like you found the problem!
