I always thought the pin was there to stop any movement from abuse, not for alignment? Those big old A2 front sights would get the crap knocked out of them and never budge a bit. Eventually my Geissele block will get pinned when it comes to rest on the right build.
I've installed the AR-15 version in a friends rifle, very solid rail for sure, lots of barrel nut engagement surface. Does this rail have the small set screws on both sides that help with rail alignment?
In theory the set screw used in barrel dimples would be more secure from turning but I have not had an issue with either. The Geissele block has set screws and then a hole so it can be pinned to the barrel.
My dad raised and trained bird dogs when I was young. By 4-5 months the pup had to come from out of sight to investigate when he fired a starter pistol. This and point at a little bundle of feathers he would hide. If they didn't do these two things then he didn't invest any training time in them, just sent them down the road.
Looks like the 10T is history now. Since Strategic Armory bought the company a few years back they have made some serious changes, not all for the good, the 10T is a hell of a good rifle.
It has a funky 3 lug bolt, doubt anyone makes an action rod for something this obscure. If the OP would fill us in a bit more on what he is trying to do we might be able to come up with something, so far the quikrete seems the best idea for holding the lower.
Are the controls just bass ackwards on that thing or what! Gonna give yourself a fat lip if you run the bolt release without taking it off your shoulder. I'll wait for the tavor 7.62 version........
That would be awesome! I was very dissapointed I could not find a version with a google search, they appear to have done a good job removing it from history, and that is just not right! RLTW!
Your missing a step or two, we sang a cadence which appears to be banned on youtube now but the chant went;
We're gonna rape, kill, pillage, and burn.
We're gonna rape, kill, pillage, and burn.
Eat babies!
before the army went PC on us.........
Keep in mind the above is for the adjustable carbine stocks, if you go with a rifle stock, A1, A2, Magpul PRS and so on then you need the rifle system;

Yep, it is the prefered buffer system by many around here. System being the key word, I am not aware of anyone having a problem with this system installed. Possible there are some proprietary rifles out there that it won't work on but never heard of an issue with this system in a DPMS platform.
I have magnifiers from vortex and primary arms mounted on ADM swivel mounts. The magnifiers don't change the zero at all. I prefer my 1-6x scopes but magnifiers have their place.
To bad the previous generations did not grasp the limited government theory of our founding fathers.........most people still don't but the pendulum seems to be trying to swing back the other way now.
