  1. Don't forget, that rifle was made to shoot suppressed, just a tax stamp away!
  2. Great times there! I envy the long range ability far more than the weather. Shooting long distance in my area takes lots of work and preparation and only takes a cow deciding to graze in wrong spot to shut it all down.
  3. Welcome from Iowa, via Arkansas!
  4. Should be a great shooter! Nice to have another Armalite guy around
  5. They concentrate on eastbound traffic, looking for all that Colorado weed!
  6. If you do 75 now you will be blown off the road!
  7. Welcome from Iowa, via Arkansas! My dad and brother live in New Castle Ne.
  8. AngelDeville, a MAN among men! That was awesome! Pope's nose, Salvador Dali, balut taste betterepic commentary all the way through! And the way you sucked everything off the bones and and sifted through the goo with your fingers looking for and eating every last morsel of meat, you earned it Brother, that and more!
  9. 308 AR milled to mil-spec? No such standard for the big fram AR's. The Guru's here will need more info and pictures. Brand of parts, gas system, does it lock back after firing a single round, what does the jam look like, lots of questions to clarify here.
  10. Just browsing LaRue and noticed he has them on his front page right now, shows in stock.

    Ice fishing

That is pretty reasonable for a whole day like that. No gear to pack sounds great. What's the rules on keeping fish, will he clean them for you? I do love fish when you get to eat it the same day but can't fillet to save my soul.

Now after looking closer I can see, saw the beard and assumed it was you. so what does a day like that on the ice cost? I might actually go ice fishing if I don't have to do the work

Did you volunteer to be the guy sticking his hands in the water all the time or lose a bet? Looks like a great time on the ice for sure!
  14. GCA of 68 made dynamite a destructive device, you could still get it but had to fill out paperwork. law changed again in the mid 70's, no more dynamite for the regular joe, that's when grandpa showed me what potash and sugar would do................. In 1982 they had to have been licensed or bought it from a licensed person illegally. Possible a hardware store was also a licensed supplier.

  16. It is amazing how slow the investigation has went. Amazing how the MSM has all but forgotten the event. They still go on and on about bumpfire stocks but could seem to care less that they can't interview the man closest to the shooter when it went down. Not a peep about why no surveillance video has become available. It doesn't seem logical that there could be a conspiracy involving all of them but I just can't understand how the entire establishment can ignore this missing evidence and simply point at a piece of plastic bolted to a rifle???!!!!
  17. Sounds like more irrelevant information to distract people from wanting the real evidence, surveillance tapes, crime scene pictures, witness interviews.........
  18. Keep one in my bug out bag at home. Tough and waterproof, hold it by the lanyard and it becomes a nasty little weapon! Another item I watch for used on ebay, tough enough used doesn't matter and the new ones, like all Surefire stuff, are pricy.
  19. Have you heard of Live Free Armory?

Damn nice fish, good eats I bet!
  21. Small world! Brad is a great guy, pure Liberty and freedom loving man. Has two shops right now and always has plans to grow. Sam, his gunsmith, is getting pretty good at cerakote now. They lean heavy on the tactical side of the business, bet you all would get along great! https://bwoutfitters.org/
  22. Welcome from Iowa, via Arkansas! Building an AR-10 or a 308 AR? Hate to be picky on nomenclature but make sure you understand the difference before you start buying parts or you will have problems. Do a bunch of searching and reading here and you will find what you need. Edit; Thought I better add, make sure the parts supplier knows the difference as well, many call DPMS pattern parts AR-10 parts causing much grief.
  23. Your gonna fit right in!
  24. Just curious if he still had the AR-10 is all.
  25. Looks nice! It's not an AR-10 though, only ArmaLite sells AR-10's.
