  1. Got it, just gotta get the card to assemble ammo.
  2. So after seeing copperheads on the job site I realize I got nothing for snakebites in the med kit. There seems to be a few out there, is one better than the other or should I just do it movie style, cut and suck?
  3. I bought one of those kits maybe ten years back when everyone was going LED, $100 buck for the whole kit in like new condition so I couldn't pass it up, that blue filter helped my nephew track down the blood trail on a poorly hit deer, and cost me $15 in batteries. My tailcap has the button and the plug-in, switch that came with it says Surefire on it though, does it need a different tailcap for this switch?
  4. Maybe it will work on my Surefire M951 as well then? Don't remember it having prongs on the plug though.
  5. Cool, maybe I can find someone that can use them then with the latest interest in clone builds. No extra screws in the kit though.
  6. New Belgium's Voodoo Ranger Jucifer IPA. Has a melon-tropical fruit aroma. Taste follows the aroma, lots of tropical melon flavor with some citrus. Has hints of pine and dank with some malty backbone. Sweet but with enough bitter to balance and not just taste like a fruit juice. Really a very good beer for a shelfie. Hopefully they keep this one coming!
  7. This video may help, it is on the little brother but should give you a good idea. Brownells have tons of good videos to watch on AR rifles.
  8. Thank you Sir! I have one but don't have a clue where the spare adapters went.
  9. @dafish jump on this opportunity, a one on one build class with @mrraley is a bucket list item.
  10. QD socket for a sling but what does it fit?
  11. It was in the cleaning kit with the jags and brushes?
  12. Plastic block, sealed in the package like many of the parts but no NSN like the rest;
  13. A rail switch but for what?
  14. Blocks are plastic, reminds of adapters for weapons lights?;
  15. I feel like I have seen this part before but at a loss;
  16. Rings but for what?
  17. Recently snagged a box of parts and cleaning supplies, it has several parts I cannot ID. About had to be some sort of Armorers kit, military stuff in it like M2 parts, Knights rail covers, M203 barrel stops for the RAS, even a Phoenix Jr. IR strobe. I will post the pics seperatley to make quotes shorter. Here is the cleaning kit label;
  18. I think it also has to do with German export law. Started with the Bush '89 import restriction but I think it is mostly the German law now even though they have US manufacturing. This article touches on it but I have not been able to find a clear explanation. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2013/09/02/hk-hate-you-import-export-laws-vs-people/
  19. Someday when I grow up maybe I can have an SOT.......... damn that Hughes amendment.
  20. I bring him a ton of business. He charges me $80 for a basic one color on three pieces job. He also knows I am never in a rush so he can work my stuff when he has slack time. Could be is is sucking me in, I seem to be spending more and more there as his skill level increases
  21. Curious how they deal with reloading, do you need the same paperwork to buy powder and bullets?
  22. I have several in various rifles and never an issue. They are made to work in both rifle and carbine extensions so putting it in and getting it out of the carbine extension can get a little exciting but it does smooth things up and quiet things down a little.
  23. That sounds almost too good to be true! I just paid $200 for a four color job on a whole rifle, it included stock, grip, and magazines that matched in with the camo pattern though.
  24. I don't do nib but their nitride bolt was an excellent fit.
