  1. Sweet kit there! You wouldn’t consider adopting me would you? 😬
  2. Welcome from Iowa, via Missouri!
  3. Most generally a self defense rifle is for shooting people. Maybe you have a bear or snake problem but odds are if a living thing is going to harm you it would be a person. As DNP said that is the intended purpose of the 2A.
  4. Not even close yet. If he gets to prison then maybe his fellow inmates will serve him a little justice. I doubt he does a day, this is just to placate the masses.
  5. How do the lugs in the barrel extension look? Any marks inside the upper? You should not be seeing that on a new bolt, I would be pestering the maker for an explanation.
  6. Rails, triggers, buffer kits, BCG, and lots of other parts sitting in unopened boxes. I am a sucker for a good sale, leads to builds I had never considered. Can’t wait to see what the 4th of July sales bring!

Welcome from Iowa, via Missouri! That is some damn fine lube you brewed up there Brother!
  8. Just got a tube from them a couple months back, $5 flat rate is what I paid for shipping.
  9. After Trumps statement that he doesn't like suppressors I would expect the wait time to increase considerably. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-marine-one-departure-46/
  10. Small washer works good, attached to the sheath with some paracord. They ship with that from the factory.
  11. Picked up this ESEE Laser Strike used on the ESEE forum, doubt it ever cut much besides paper. Love the TKC G10 scales and there was a bonus Esee arrowhead inside with ferrocerium fire starting flint and tinder tabs, a well designed survival knife. Specs are; Overall Length: 10.0″ Cutting Edge Length: 4.5″ Overall Blade Length: 4.75″ Blade Width: 1.38″ Weight (Knife Only): 9.5 Ounces Maximum Thickness: .188″ 1095 Carbon Steel, 55 – 57 Rc. Blade Finish: Black Textured Powder Coat Removable Handles Bow Drill Divot In Handle Ambidextrous Black Kydex Sheath The wife kidnapped my other laser strike for her car so now we will have one in both vehicles. Odds are I will never use the knife for its intended purpose but if I do need it I know it is solid kit.
  12. Never seen documentation on that. What I have seen is that they used poaching as a reason. It was the depression and many in rural America were poaching to put meat on the table. They promoted the idea that banning suppressors would make the game wardens job easier. Like most gun control it did nothing, in my neighborhood during the 30's if someone saw a deer it warranted an article in the local paper.
  13. King Sue DIPA by Toppling Goliath Brewing in Decorha Iowa. Aromas of ripe orange, mango, pineapple, just a tropical citrus bomb. Flavor follows the aroma but heavy on the orange and pineapple. Just huge on citrus flavor all the way through with a mild pithy dry at the finish. Nice creamy mouthfeel with a subtle oily feel. A VERY good DIPA!
  14. Looks to be very similar to the Matrix sets. Wonder if the same LPK as the Matrix works. Just wish someone would do a set that uses the B mag, love my B mags.
  15. We are just fuk'd period, at least until we fuk back.................. this process can only move forward, we can slow it but that will only make it worse, better to just get the pendulum headed the other way as soon as possible. LIBERTY FIRST!
  16. Good deal, you got a keeper there! I have a hard time convincing my wife to pick up a receiver for me because she hates "all the paperwork".
  17. You are going to love it brother! Better set aside some of that bike money for the increase in the ammo budget
  18. Tropical Burn DIPA from Firetrucker Brewery in Ankeny, IA. Tropical fruit aroma with a hint of malt. Has a very malt forward taste with some light caramel. There is some mangoish flavor with a hint of citrus. Finish is a dry, peppery bitter, not overwhelming bitter just a touch. Not what I expected but very pleasant and refreshing. I will be trying to find more from this brewery for sure!
  19. That brewery in Dorchester sure brews a lot of different companies beer. They do a great job though!
  20. Launch NE IPA from Fat Orange Cat brewed by Dorchester Brewing Co. Boston Mass. Slight citrus and a good does of malty aroma, touch of pine maybe? A mild citrusy sweet pith flavor up front. The flavor really changes rapidly, runs through some malty sweet, lemon, a touch of pine, some mango and kiwi notes. Strange for an IPA there is a note of caramel as well. It finishes with a little hop bitter but not much bite. It has a real resinous, oily mouth feel. Rich and complex, wish I'd have bought more.
  21. X-Caliber can make that for you, depending on what dimensions you are associating to pencil profile. I got my 16 inch rifle gas from them several years back. Hopefully they have learned a bit about port sizing by now, mine came seriously under gassed but it was an easy fix. They get about $300, plus $120 if you want fluting. http://x-caliber.net.revlis.arvixevps.com/ar-10
  22. Welcome from Iowa, via Missouri!
  23. Wow, They know they have something. $319 seems a bit much, makes me wish I wouldn’t have passed them up at $150 a few years back.
