  1. Armalite ball busting? That, my friend will have to be discussed over "many" beers in person some day. So there.................................
  2. Only after a good night of drinking.
  3. Yeah, we know that. I mean, don't get me wrong, the SCAR 17 is a nice platform. But I'll take my 10 SBR over that rifle any day of the week. Now, of course, I say that being an Armalite junkie.
  4. Just kidding. FN makes a might fine rifle overall.
  5. That was from earlier. I've already showered off my brother. <laughs>
  6. No doubt! Daniels makes some mighty fine (durable) equipment. I'm living proof. <laughs>
  7. Why yes. Yes they are. Just like my ex-wife. <lmao>
  8. Nope. Just mud/grime in the receiver. Dirty as all get out. She felt sooooo dry as you would rack her. BUT....she kept firing at the range.....even suppressed. And I figured that I use her as my "go to" rifle......that she deserved a good thorough cleaning. Sheeeeiiitttt! She's feeling pretty sweet about right now. With some actual lubrication. <laughs>
  9. Eeessh! Something to look forward to I guess.
  10. As expected. Never brother. You know me better than that. <lmao>
  11. That fukin sucks. You would think people would LEARN from this. But....they won't. Fuckin sheeple.
  12. Same way as your women I guess? <lmao>
  13. Larue, and others (like LWRCI...KAC....etc) are the deep end of the pool my man. And the "true" SASS models from Armalite are of the 20" barreled variety. After all, I believe that's what they submitted for the (what became) M110 platform contract.
  14. FUK! As some of you, closer to me than others, know. I HATE cleaning rifles. Now....I love building them. I love shooting them. And I love talking about them. But I fukin HATE cleaning them. Rob will appreciate this. I finally got around to cleaning the MK18 today. After all.....we played around with her at Edge's graduation last MAY. Meaning May of '14. GAWD DAMN she was dirty! Needless to say.............3 hours later........she was finally cleaned up. I just figured that I'd pass that along. Carry on.......as you were. <lmao>
  15. Well of course.....it's an Armalite. <laughs>
  16. White collar job? That's it! You're excommunicated! <laughs>
  17. All the kidding aside. You did an outstanding job Rob. It sounded like you represented us all VERY well. And, you were pretty informative to the guy you were talking to. Hopefully this helps some guys either come to our site, or helps them out with their builds. I'm Ron (rsquared) and I approve of this message. <thumbsup>+1 Rob
  18. I don't know about the California approved models....but do I really need to say? My tag line says it all. Now that being said. My beloved Armalite seems to be slowly moving away from their AR-10B model (the ones I have) more and more.
  19. What's with these California people? Always wanting to get in the spotlight, or closer to Hollywood. <laughs>
  20. Hmm. All of my cam pins are rounded on both the forward and rear facing side. When in doubt face it forward. You've got a 50/50 shot whether it's right or not. <laughs> Joking aside. Set it facing forward and then slide the carrier in your upper. Slide it back and forth a couple times and see how it feels. Oh....and welcome to the forum.
  21. Obviously your highly misguided.
  22. Too bad. Ron's are better than Rob's (aimed at a different Rob my man). <laughs> Welcome aboard Rob.
  23. Uncouth? Why I'm shocked and appalled. :bb:
