Hey JT. I run a UBR on one of my AR-10 carbines with a lightweight Troy rail. I run one of Slashs' heavy buffers in it (CAR 10 XH). The UBR is a little hefty. But it's worth it (in my opinion at least). You get used to it pretty easy. I love it myself. It also has a PRI adjustable block. Not bad, but it can be a pain in the ass to adjust (adjustment screw is on the side) unless you take a dremel to the rail once everything is in place. Just the enabler coming outta me.

First of all. Armalite had their own design that they submitted for the SASS (M110) program (mrraley step in if I'm wrong). The Armalite SASS (which I have 2 of them) is a 20" 1x10 rifle gas system with an adjustable gas block. A QD muzzle device is provided (depending on manufacture). Now mine....being built from the ground up....I went with the AAC style suppressor setup (51T ratchet). 762-SD......or SDN-6. They both work exceptionally. The Fed's decided to go with the Knight's SR-25 (M110) platform. The Knights........well......an outstanding weapon. Pricey......but nice. I'd love one.

I'll do a more forward follow-up of what Shepp just said. I personally know our man "Unforgiven". And, truth be told, I fuked with him many, many times, before I ever met him face to face. All in a friendly atmosphere (around here). And once meeting the man one on one....all I could come away with, is.... HE IS A BROTHER. Now.....if that doesn't get the point across......then may your god help you. Cause I'm gonna follow a fellow like-minded brother of mine through the gates of hell and back. HE is ME! I am HIM. Wow. I thought the 220 was nice. That's why I bought the elite dark model (suppressed capable of course). The larger capacity is pretty cool. Does it still "feel" similar? Cause that was one of the selling factors of the 220. Just wondering.

He nailed it right there for you beeks. For just about all of my builds, I've somehow ended up using nothing but either Armalite or Noveske barrels. And that's running the range from AR-10's , 300blk's to AR-15's. I've never had an issue with any of them (barrel related at least). Now there's other quality barrel manufacture's out there, plenty of them actually. I was just throwing out what I've done as an example. And as pretty much what everybody else is trying to say, don't buy a $100 barrel, and then wonder why the thing doesn't shoot worth a damn.
