I've probably got about 40 or 50 of those sum-bitches laying around, and have never had an issue with any of them. I understand your "common mag" theory though. I tried to stay in that arena also. Other than a G3 clone that I bought years ago, and an SBR FAL, all my other 7.62 battle rifles are AR-10's. Which is why I stayed with the "standard" mags. Plus, the fact that I'm just an all around 10B junkie. It wasn't until recently (last year that is) that I finally branched out into the LR 308 side, and had to start building up the PMAG count. Also mighty fine mags....just for the record.

Welcome aboard Greengoblin. And yes, like the other guys pretty much said, Armalite's are referred to as AR-10's. Then, everything else falls into the LR 308 category. Some mighty fine rifles out there though, on both sides of the aisle. Oh....and just try to ignore the Rock River guys all together. They just don't know any better. <lmao>
