Well.......if you're gonna bring it up. The Elcan optics are pretty nice. Pretty pricey.....but pretty nice. You've got the 1x / 4x (or 6x) mag. I've got one on my 10 SBR. Pretty nice. The "flip" feature is pretty sweet. You kinda get the best of both worlds. And durability? Both the EOtech and the Elcan....you could use them as clubs if you needed to.

Do you want pics of different builds Drew? I'd be more than happy to provide them if that's what you're looking for. Though I'm pretty sure that I've posted them (maybe in a drunken stupor) in the past. Just let me know brother.

I understand. I'm a EO-Tech kinda guy myself for some of my rifles....depending on barrel length. Everybody is gonna have their opinions when it comes to optics. You've got to find something that you like......and roll with it. (even though I'm an enabler).

Or.........in jeans and a shirt........with a beer in your hand.

Yeah. I use the Car-10 XH buffers on a couple of my 10's. On a variety of barrel lengths and stocks. From a 12.5" SBR to a 20" SASS. They all work flawless. They make them run smooth.....at least on mine. I also run comp's and/or brakes on all of my rifles.

I'm not a LEO my man (though I know a few around here). But I've dealt with more than my fair share of fireman/inspectors in my time.

So you're thinking something more along the lines of a "strike-purpose" type of optic/sight. I understand. But.....you started the thread. And as imschur said (and being an enabler).....it's up to you to get one and report back to us. It's only fair. <laughs>

Gotta admit. I've been a Harris bi-pod guy for years. I recently picked up an Atlas bi-pod. My opinion just might be changing.

I may have my SASS...but that is one SWEET looking rifle there Greg. I can't wait to shoot that thing.

The UBR and the PRS stocks are specific for the 308 platform.
