If the adjustment screw is all the way in, than yes...the flow of gas should be shut off at that point. Syriac makes some higher priced stuff. You would think that you wouldn't get a defect. But that doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. I've been planning to try some of their stuff on one of my next builds.

Time, also keep in mind that things like mags can be swapped between all of the above mentioned rifles (as soon as you have more than one.....which you will), except for the Armalite. They take their own mags for the "B" pattern rifles. The "A" pattern uses the same style of mags as the rest of them. With that being said, as my tag line says, I love all of my Armalites. especially the SASS, and they're all the "B" pattern.

I'll be running my AAC 762-SD. That is......until I pick up my 762 SDN-6. Of course......that is if I can find any ammo for the damn thing. I'm probably gonna build a 556 SBR upper for it while I'm trying to track down some ammo for it. I'm not set up for reloading yet. After a couple more builds, I'm probably gonna get tooled up for loading my own stuff.

Hey patriot. Welcome to the board. I've got a couple of AR-10 carbines (16"), and they're more than fine for the "urban (around the home)" type of environment when it comes to accuracy. With that being said, I hope that I never have to pull the trigger in that scenario. Everybody would be deaf and all the windows would be blown out. Now for CQB.....I've just finished building my 12" AR-10 SBR..................just in case.
