  1. Well....you're lucky you already called shotgun..........otherwise.....we'd be throwin you in the back when the van pulls up.
  2. Why do I feel like a little bit of :hornet: is going on?
  3. Smartass :thefinger:
  4. Ahhhhh........that's what friends are for, huh?
  5. Welcome aboard Togreenfeet. Always happy to have another fellow Armalite guy around (though mine are the B pattern). Edge is right on with his suggestions. And yes....thanks for your service.
  6. Outstanding acquisition! You're gonna love it.
  7. Yeah.....I think that we both know that. But......you can't blame a brother for trying any avenue that might be available for him. <laughs>
  8. I tried this same approach on lowers in another thread. I haven't seen a response yet. Good luck. Let me know if there are any parts you need help with brother. I might be able to help.
  9. It doesn't have to be Armalite for me to appreciate a nice piece of equipment my brother. After all......it's not like it's a Rock River or CMMG. <lmao> Couldn't help myself.......................................
  10. I like it. Good job Matt. Don't worry about the haters (cough, cough....Edge). They hate, because they love.
  11. Yeah, I'm probably gonna build a shorter upper in 5.56 (I'm thinking 7 or 8")..............until 300 BLK ammo actually starts to trickle back into the market.
  12. Beer will DEFINITELY not be the problem.
  13. Now who's an enabler? <laughs>
  14. Mine was ok. The expected phone calls from the kids. Piece and quiet. Just the way I like it.
  15. I live pretty Spartan. Better bring the field gear and pull up a piece of floor. <laughs>
  16. She's a little over 9 lbs. fully loaded. She's no light weight by far. But she's pretty balanced.
  17. Welcome aboard from MD airslot.
  18. I'm letting the rockset cure on the comp before I start playing around with the can. Just another ugly M-Fer.
  19. So everyone can have a little perspective on just how short she is. And, I've named her Jennifer.
  20. No worries my brutha. Whenever we finally hook up (with the short bus of course).......you'll have fun with it too. And that's the beauty of NFA stuff. As long as you buy something every couple months......it all starts flowing in at the same pace.........just 6-8 months later.
  21. I like to think of it as supporting the cause. And besides.....I just went through the gun pusher today and paid for the BRO 308 set that I asked him to hold for me last weekend. Also.....I made a killing with some Boeing stock this year. I can always sell some of that off if I have an "emergency" purchase that's needed. <laughs>
  22. OK ladies. It's been some time waiting for this one, along with my AR-10 shorty (Laura.....in another thread). Here's the first pic of the 300 BLK shorty after assembly. I just finished her up a little while ago. She measures in between 27 and 28 inches. I'll try to get some better pics tomorrow. As I said, I just finished her.......and now it's drinking time / NHL cup playoff time. Haven't figured out her name yet.
  23. Actually.....I'll go for 2 of each in XL now that I think about it.
