  1. Probably not as many as you deserve.
  2. I hope that you realize that we expect a FULL report on how it runs. Even if it's just the "I shot the hell outta the thing" type of intel. <laughs>
  3. Fight back Rob. Tell em how that 220 just feels right when it's in your hand (mine does). And then..............then....then.....Awww hell......get the 1911.....I would.
  4. Yeah, he's got some BRO uppers. Though they do come with the port door and forward assist. Sick but happy...............and lovin every minute of it.
  5. I live alone fella's. So no old lady to get in the way (she's way in the rear view). So I'm you're perfect scape-goat. BRING IT ON!
  6. As it says in the title, just rolled back into the house from my LGS. He had called me earlier....silly me thought that he was calling about a couple of lowers that he's been keeping safe in his.....well....safe. But nooooooooo. He was calling me to let me know that he's got some Black Rain Ordnance billet upper and lower sets (5.56) that he just got in. So, being the fool that I am, I decide to head on up there. Read that as a stooooopid mistake. I no sooner stumble through his door.....pick up and handle the billet set.....and some how........."I'll take two of em" comes outta my mouth. I'm tellin you guys.......it's a sickness (as many of you know). And if that isn't enough, somehow, he happened to have a Noveske switchblock dangling on his wall.....right at about eye level (shocker.......he's a prick). Needless to say.....that left with me too. Thank god he only had the one of them. ..............were you paying attention earlier when I said it's a sickness? And then...............to top it all off. What does he produce in front of me (knowing that I've been looking for something close)? A Desert Eagle in .44 Mag. Slightly used....but in nice shape. I've had him on the hunt for a .357 Eagle for me. It was HARD not to add that one to the list. It was a good price. ssshhhhhhhhh. I may go back tommorrow and tack that one on also. Every damn time I fall into his shop, I come away a little bit lighter in the wallet. But....in my State (of confusion and communism), I'm gathering lowers as fast as I can find good deals. Before that we're "not allowed" to buy them anymore........more RAT BASTARDS! So, this brings me up to 7 different builds that I'll have on the books. And I still got 5 more months till the deadline. Hell.....I'm gonna have my own production facility by October. <lmao> Her's a pic of the BRO set. Sorry for piss-poor phone pic....but, you'll get over it.
  7. On that point I agree. Why re-invent the wheel. That's the beauty of these fire-breathing beasts. You can throw them together with off-the-shelf parts. Or...you can piece them together with NM parts as you find them. I mean.....what's not to like? And then to take it the next step farther. If you have machining tools at your disposal, you can tweek and tune any part to your liking. Not all of us have that luxury.......but we can definitely appreciate the time, thought (read as field engineering) and effort put into the finished part that may be fabricated. Hey....besides for self-defense....this is still a hobby right?
  8. Good deal. Cause.......if you jump....we lasso your ass and pull you back in.
  9. They were talking about when the website changed format a couple months ago Magwa. Don't worry......they can't throw a bunch of guys like all of us outta here. Well..........until they do. <laughs>
  10. Obviously mixed feelings so far from everybody. I've bought all of my cans from the same guy. He's given me good prices, and is always thanking me for buying from him. Plus, they'd have to go through him or another FFL anyway. And, since I solely use him for everything that is factory built (not parts....unless he has them), he's my goto FFL.
  11. I do love a good challenge. But I'm too busy trying to find even more parts across the web. <laughs> And.....local guys of course.
  12. Time is almost as valuable as cash it seems like sometimes.
  13. Now that actually made me laugh out loud to myself. Another good zinger from the brother from Indiana.
  14. I'm guessing that it's a small hammock?
  15. Now just my opinion. Knowing that I'm not at the moderators "level". Goof.....don't take it too personal. 98 was just jumping on you to slow you down a bit. As Rob pointed out, he did reference that he likes your builds and your building ability. Now I've always viewed this place as a chioce few "hang-outs" where friends (close-friends) gather....talk S H I T.....or just outright bust balls. With that being said, there's always that invisible line that everybody gets accustomed to, and don't cross unless they are tighter with the individual whose ball's they're bustin. That's why I think 98 jumped in the way that he did. There's always room for a little good ol fashioned ball busting. But I would also keep a thick skin. If nothing else.....this crowd can seem to be vicious at times. But when you sift through the volleys being fired back and forth across people's bows (or square in the chest sometimes), you can pick up the friendly camaraderie that is actually going on. Don't let it get to you and just leave. That would just show that you can't stand up to the pounding that any of us might take from time to time. Just my opinion my man. And besides........then Tom would have won another one. <laughs>
  16. IT'S ON!!!!!!!
  17. ^^^^^ And I'm trying to catch up to you brother. I'm constantly buying parts......if I need a specific part or not. Last time I checked......they don't go bad.
  18. That blows that she would have that kinda attitude with you.
  19. Ahhhh......Hurricanes?
  20. Also, I'm sure that you're aware that you're gonna have to permanently attach a muzzle device to your 14.5" build. Otherwise you're gonna have to register the lower as an SBR. Just throwin it out there my man.
  21. I agree. This thing should come together pretty nice. Good luck finding the Armalite BCG. I've been on a backorder list since December.
  22. Ain't that the truth.
  23. As long as you have fun. That's the important part.
  24. All the joking aside.....alot of guys (no....not just me) consider some of the smaller Armalite parts to be superior in quality (springs, bolt-catch.....etc). If you can't find them.....let me know. I think I've got some parts (outta parts kits) that might work for you. For what it's worth. Armalite shows LPK's as in stock right now.......less trigger of course. Good for the parts.
  25. According to my tag line.......................do I really need to say anything Justintoxicated?
