It's been a couple months now. Still waiting on the ATF for the tax stamp. But since our last installment, I picked up the rail that Edge suggested (Thanks Greg). I think she looks pretty good. Pretty much what I was looking for. And just for you junior G-men out there. I'll re-state that this is not a functioning rifle. It has no gas system or bolt carrier installed. :thefinger: Now.....with that disclamier outta the way............on to the most recent pics.

Good luck with that my man. Armalite bolts (and carriers) were hard to come by before all of the poop in December started screwing all of us. I've had one on order from Delta 3 for a while now.

Yeah, the Raptor handle is bigger than a standard, charging handle. Has a good feel to it. At least on the Daniels M4 that I put it on. I'm guessing that the 308 version will have the same feel to it. I haven't tried the BCM yet. I run PRI gas-busters on the rest of my AR-10's.

Yep. Ordered another Raptor handle/Bad-Ass lever combo. But this time with the 308 charging handle. I'll tell you what. Roger is definitely on his game. I ordered them late last night, and got the email this morning that they had shipped. Talk about some quick turn-around.

I'm starting (yeah starting) to think that that's a politicians job. Thier whole objective is to get into office. After that......they do whatever they want. I hate politicians. So few of them actually stand for anything.......except thier agenda.

I can see your point. But I don't think that I'd worry about erosion........unless you shoot the living hell outta the thing. And even then.....gas blocks are like brake pads on a car. They're easy and fast to swap out. Just thinkin out loud (for what it's worth).

I'd be interested in trying an Atlas too. I've currently got multiple Harris bi-pods on different AR-10's. To me, they're pretty durable and I've never had an issue with them. But I'd like to give an Atlas a spin.
