  1. Welcome from Maryland.
  2. Who was your carpenter? Yeah, yeah.....I know that it was you. That was just an easy shot across your bow brother.
  3. I don't mean to break up the "dune" thread now. But.....since I was called out. And don't think that I'm skeered to drive out there again, if the flight/mask nonsense isn't lifted by then. Oh.....and my boxes are from the blue store, not the orange store......as if there's a difference. Clearly seen in the back of my truck here. Though my fat ass is leaning against planeflyer Jon's truck in this pic. Now.......carry on with the dune hopping and such.
  4. And that's one of the many reasons why I have a personal code of never going into one of those places.
  5. Got it covered my brother. I use these. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-24-in-W-x-48-in-L-x-28-in-Steel-Jobsite-Box/1000172279
  6. OK. What did I do wrong this time? I didn't break it. Belt fed broke it.
  7. Fukin A right! I would've dropped that fuker long before an ambulance showed up onsite. I can barely tolerate 2-leggers in this world. I've got ZERO patience for 4-leggers....and even less for the no-leggers (slithering bastards).
  8. imschur? Who the hell is that? None of us have EVER heard of him. The bastard.........
  9. It's gotta be close. After all.....Mike did have a box o' Glocks. Granted.......no sights.
  10. That's EXACTLY what I meant.
  11. Whoa! The first gap was 2 years. Then the second gap was 4 years. It seems to be multiplying by itself. Hmmmm Will it come back again in 16 years? I only ask because my name rsquared (R2) defines the mathematics of the equation. Guess we'll have to wait around until 2036 to find out.
  12. Gotta be careful. That's how parts grow into complete rifles.
  13. This place has been corrupt for quite some time. And YES.....I love it too. Do I need to bring up Drew's cat revenge? Spring Shibi? Memorial day madness (doc did trade a plane for a microphone ya know)? Or.....the salute to Microgunner? Or any of the other adventures? Wait a minute................those were all some twisted stories ............inside some fuked up guy's head. Never mind................as you were...............carry on (with a quick salute and an about face). ****side note**** To any of the newer members........these are some ancient tales floating around this server somewhere. (The teams live on!)
  14. With no question. This guy is a regular dude. But a dangerous dude. I LIKE it.
  15. Now just hold on there my good man. YOU, of all people can't act all innocent. King of the zingers................... Sultan of shots fired across other's bows....................... Benevolent yet ball busting individual....................... You're one of the main reasons why I bought my MRAD before I ever even mentioned it around here. Oh......and.......... AND.....by the way......this crowd is ALL about riding that short bus. I'm the wheel man and Rene is riding shotgun.
  16. For those old enough to remember.
  17. I love the place. But NOT this time of year. Triple digits plus (I don't give a rats ass about the low humidity) is just way too much. Now that being said, lately here around the DC area, low 90's with humidity ranging from 70 to 85%, has been pretty brutal. But nothing like 117. Fuk that noise.
  18. True. You're right. I got a little overzealous. (good nickel word)
  19. Careful dude. You're dancing all over the line of "The Rule". In fact.....too late. Let us know how it works.
  20. Welcome aboard.
  21. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  22. Whoa, whoa, whoa there big fella. I take plenty of bites outta the $hit sandwich that's passed around here. And I don't even spit out the corn.
  23. I totally expected that kind of comment.
  24. Realistically, only Armalite makes compatible uppers for their lowers. Except maybe some older Noveske uppers. They used to make their stuff to the Armalite spec. But that was years ago, and finding a unicorn would probably be easier. Keep in mind that a stripped upper from Armalite (or other parts places) will run around 300 bucks. The BCG will be another 250. So you're already over half way to that 800. Then you add a barrel, gas block, gas tube, charging handle, sights......blah, blah, blah. Really, 800 to get a functioning AR-10 upper isn't really that bad. Building Armalite rifles/carbines isn't the cheapest way to make things happen. Go ahead.....ask me how I know that. I've got (a few) of them. Armalite and cheap don't go hand in hand.
